Do you actually think those coaches would have wanted to coach under an admin who they would have perceived unfairly firing Golden after all that he was put through with the Shapiro investigations and through it all improving win totals every year?I said it once and ill keep saying it, last year was the perfect time to fire Golden and get Chudzinski or Schiano, or even butch back.
You people need to put a little bit more thought at what comes out of your mouths. really.
You left out that he wouldn't have been unfairly fired since he was MIA (for a week) in the middle of the final month of recruiting.
Cause that obviously ended up affecting recruiting.. NOT.
Had his whereabouts and transgressions been made public I believe recruiting would have been affected.
Wow. It was perfect that he was MIA, actually benefited the program. Boy what was I thinking. It wasn't just recruiting by the way, the school would have been justified in firing him for being MIA. I only pointed out the period by connecting it to recruiting.
except he wasn't MIA.
Miami AD Blake James wrote in a text message to Christy Cabrera Chirinos of the South Florida Sun Sentinel Saturday that he has been in contact with Golden, and added his thoughts on whether he will have to man a search committee as counter part Dave Joyner currently is at Penn State.
