Camp Notes Day #4

I would love McCord to be back at DE, seems like he has the burst on the edge that could make it a difference. Hope he doesn't turn into a JAG at LB.

I thi k in order for this board to be satisfied Miami should put out a scouting report after every practice listing the top performers as every player on the roster.

I felt last year it would take McCord two years to physically start showing what he can really do out there. He is still so **** talented he can make plays but we haven't seen anything from him yet and I don't personally expect a huge season from him though he will make a lot of plays just because of talent.

I think McCord is going to be a star.... the coaching staff changed his position but not how he will play on the field. Last year he was a stand up rush end and that is the same way they are going to use him this year.

Even as a normal SLB he was listed ahead of Armbrister going into Fall Camp which shows he does have what it takes to play the position.

I think he can lead the team in sacks this year.... (over/under 7) im going with over.

If you lined up McCord side by side with Stephen Morris last year, I think most people wouldn't have been able to tell them apart( in their uniforms)

He was another young guy who needed to be RShirted but UM simply did not have that luxury....

Anyone else think it might be a good idea to move Corey King to the OL?

We're a bit thin at guard now that Isidora went down. We're also bringing in Kamalu, Derosier, and Renfro.

We aren't thin at OG at all, 4 experienced guys. Linder and Feliciano, Bunche and Wheeler can both play there as well. The great thing about this OL group is Bunche, Feliciano, even Linder can play OT and OG. Wheeler can back up C and OG.

Good post.

****, Seantrel's athletacism just jumps out at you...he's so light on his feet and felxible for a guy his size.

The players who jumped out at me in that video were Feliciano, Pierre and Robinson. Pierre can have an All-ACC 2nd team type of year. Feliciano is such a **** inline mauler. Would love to see him in old school counter traps.

If either of those guys can make "the leap" to go along with Porter.....now we're talking.
