Swasey is the worst strength coach ever. I can't believe he stay employed by Miami for 15 years. My God it's pretty well recorded that even Al Golden realized Swasey was an awful S&C coach. (Although he was too much of a coward to fire him.)

Hawkins rejected Butch to instead work for a different Davis. He decided to become head coach at UC Davis.

Beard might be a decent hire for a program like FIU but he should not be a WR coach at a school like Miami. Maybe he could be WR coach at Miami if he cuts his teeth for at least 5 years at a place like FIU, but he is not qualified currently.

Swasey on the other hand has no business being a S&C coach at the D3 level.

Yeah but the folks were categorizing him as indispensable with regard to recruiting because of this.

No. He brought us out of horrible sanctions and built the greatest college team of all time.

I guess people are mad he left but don't know how you can fault someone for providing for his family and taking the $. No one has a problem with Schnelly and Johnson.
