Bryan McClendon comin'...aaaannnd he's gone

Here’s the issue with this think line of thinking. Georgia is a run the ball play defense team under Smart. So if you are the wrs coach at Georgia how does this progress or look good on your resume? Miami on the other hand is a much more wide open offense with access to better wr talent on a consistent basis. If he wants to be a career wr coach Georgia is the move. But if he has career aspirations beyond just wr coach staying at Miami is better for his coaching career overall. Being a part of a Miami resurgence to a national power would skyrocket his career.
doesn't Mario want to be more run dominant or at least have that reputation? I mean what could settle that is the OC hire haha. we don't know what the O scheme will be bc we don't know who the OC is nd what scheme they want to run.

for Mac, he was a sole OC and called plays at USCe and flopped. like T rob, he may want to get back to that

We’re gonna throw the ball. I don’t blame Mario for not throwing the ball with Brown. And i believe he is a coach who can adapt and learn from his mistakes…not throwing more with Herbert. We’re going after all the top qbs in the country. I don’t think 3 yards and a cloud of dust is the plan. I can guarantee we’re gonna throw a lot more than Georgia.

Did I say it was his dream job?

Whether or not that's the case, it most certainly isn't a lateral move. You're going to coach under the GOAT Saban. You're going to see how a machine of a program operates from the inside. You're going to learn from the best DB coach in the country.

As a professional, you should always want to work for and learn from the best. An Alabama offer is one few would turn down. It has largely been a job that moves people up the ranks.

There's plenty of reasons for him to jump at the opportunity. I'm sure there's some examples of coaches going there and falling off the map, that DL coach we had from Missouri comes to mind, but it's been beneficial to most who went.
No. TRob said coming back to Miami (home) was his dream.

I agree he flopped at SC east but name all the coordinators that would have done well with the players he had. No I do not endorse him to be ours.

loyalty only goes so far but when a man leaves one school and brings you with him i believe you should show him some loyalty and at least stick around for one year. these are really one year commitments. but if you are not loyal to the institution at least be loyal to the man giving you the opportunity.
It's just the lay of the land. Let's not forget Mario left Miami in a month to join Alabama. Things just come full circle.

Now this is just sad. You have been following my posts around for weeks at this point and this is the one where you thought you had me, so you decided to porst. I can't believe a full grown man would think this was a "gotcha" post.

I can't believe I have to explain this to a grown man, but the one of the most important things about merchandise sales are the people who buy them. Changing your mind every time the majority of CIS thinks a certain way, like you do, is what I was making fun of here.

If yout think the executives at fashion companies don't look at the data for who is wearing their clothes. And if you think the NFL staffs are looking at forums and changing their opinion on coaches based on what a bunch of biased fans think, then you have the business acumen of a toad.

When you see a car crash, you can't help but look. It's not right, but it's human nature. You're like a 50 car pile-up in the snow all by yourself. I can't help but enjoy watching you put your foot in your mouth and contradict yourself each and every day. You're my mopey mope mascot.

Not according to him he didn't... I'll just take him at his word. Guess we'll find out if he's a liar.

Dee, you don't think he even "met" with anyone from UGA? Maybe it's about the wording? I can't help but find it incredibly weird and suspicious that he was at a HS that is a one hour drive from UGA yesterday, the day after this rumor broke. The odds of being RIGHT THERE x the odds of it being on THAT DAY... man, I can't dismiss that as much as I want to. I'm too data driven.
