Brini Decommits from UGA

If we get Brini (and Carter) you have to love the versatility of this DB class.

Bandy: True NB
Deejay: CB
Edwards: CB or FS
Brini: CB or FS
Carter: Better fit at SS, but could play FS in this scheme
Gibson: True in the box SS, might be used at LB similar to Jaquan in certain situations.

I'm very happy with that group

Take Nick Roberts, he's an EE who will be 17 when he enrolls at Miami. Ton of upside and the kid makes plays. They really should have been patient and evaluated him in the fall before telling him to look elsewhere. Hopefully both parties left the door open for a return. The "big" corners thing is overrated imo. Technique or Hips can wipe out a 3-4"height discrepancy real quick.

I like the group, but only problem is that Deejay is not yet(might never be) a bonafide true Cb and there isn't one in that group. Nick Roberts could/should be that guy.
 
I like how 2017 is shaping with these long versatile athletes. I think Malek is going to shine at the U.. He is a true dog with underrated speed. I think he will end up being better than Corn is in this scheme. Watch out for him, he could be our #1 come next year easy.
 
I'm not aware of anyone who's underrated Malek's speed. He's probably the fastest player on the team....

Don't care about Brini, but if our coaches love him I'm willing to defer to their evaluation. Looks slow to me. And recruits who play too many games are usually pvssies, and you can't win with too many pvssies unless you're a pimp.

I'm no eval guy, but actually I don't think he looks slow. He seems to have good enough speed and look expolsive when he jumps. But he is very handsy though.

I just want them to take Nick too. His instincts just look to be elite.

Boar u really think Bama offered? Your better than this....not a brini fan... I remember I saw Carlton Davis one game and said this guys gonna be a stud I saw brini one game and it did nothing for me... maybe he improves....I'd just rather have a sure thing ... I wasn't to hyped in Henderson either I think he's gonna play offense ... and oh yeah Brian Edwards is having second thoughts about coming here because he wants to play corner and banda wants him at safety... we need another pure corner

First time I've heard this. It seems there is wide-open playing time for him at CB.

That's what Edwards told rivals the other day. He said "I'm not very solid" because he wants to play CB and they want him at safety
