There was a story in Sports Illustrated where Adrian Peterson detailed his recruitment. He was a DIE HARD Longhorns fan. Even a bit of a legacy (had an uncle who played there). Went to all of their spring games coming up. Dreamed of going to UT.

He crossed them off the list his senior year bc he asked about immediately starting and Mack Brown told him the truth (said they would start Cedric Benson bc he was a senior).

I guess what i'm trying to say is: LIE TO THESE KIDS!!! Or at the very least tell them what they want to hear. Urban does it. Saban does it.

Aren't our DB coaches all about versatility? Play him and both, make everyone happy. Easy as pie.

Not big on Brini. Wouldn't hate the pick up, but he does nothing for us next year.

Wilson did very good against quality players on teams with relatively good coaching. He went to camps and dominated. Brini hasn't produced/impressed against any quality team or WR that I can think of, nor has he stood out in camps.

To me this kid reminds more of prince Kent. Frame and size wise, too. He had stiff hips and scouts said would have to change his position. He was an All-American CB that got roasted in the under armour game and ended up playing linebacker in college.

I have never once heard that about Brini nor have I seen that issue in any of his highlight tape. I actually think he has pretty good hips for a corner his height.
