Agree, timing definitely matters here. With Kiffin & OM likely falling short of the playoffs, I’m interested to see if they push for that to get done before ESD. Also, I’m hoping UF beats OM at home. Imagine how conflicted UF fans will be if Napier beats Kiffin 😭😭😭😭.

With the way things are now I'm sure everything would be expedited. UF will know before the season is over if they want to fire Billy especially the last 5 games on their schedule. If you are a coach of a team I would imagine you would have an idea if your team is going to make the playoffs or not a week or two before the season is over.

Thr stupidity of UFag is that if the firing was going to happen it would've been during the bye week to give the players time to adjust and prepare for UT or this week so they can prepare for thr murderers row coming up. Now the moment he gets fired the players are done and have no motivation going against UGA, UT, LSU and Ole **** all of which have CFP on their mind and the recruits have no idea what the plan is

I am talking about whoever is the incoming coach. They would have no shot on early signing day

Lane Kiffin is about as skummy as it gets in recruiting. Wouldn’t be shocked if he told Hanks he’s taking the job earlier in the process and to trust it. Who knows. Kiffin will 100% be a home run for Florida wish something else opened up for him

Expedited doesn't mean anything here, though.

Early Signing Day is earlier than it ever has been.

The real issue is how "close" a kid is between his First Choice and his Second Choice. And if Second Choice isn't that far behind, then you have a lot more confidence going with the sure thing, where you have a coaching staff with 3 years of tenure, as opposed to the crapshoot you will have at First Choice when you don't even know who your position coach will be.

Lane would be an idiot to leave. First off Ole **** is a better job, he'll get them 10 wins a year and always be a CFP contender, he'll never get fired, they should be the favorites in every game the rest of the season except maybe UGA which is a tossup and at UF you're starting close to the bottom again

I agree with everything you said. But Ole Miss isn’t a better job than UF. Also he’s win big at florida. But I agree with the rest of what you said

The only thing Florida has left over Ole is nostalgia at this point. Not even location because more hands then ever are in the Florida pot recruiting wise and now with both Texas schools being hot there's no advantage to being there if you're a top coach

Ole miss has more job security than Florida. He will probably recruit better at ole miss given what he has done so far. It might be easier to compete in the coming years than Nick Satan's bama years. The question is who can go to Florida and turn that program around in three years that would be willing to leave were they currently are to go to Florida.
