If Nape gets fired at the end of the season, I would imagine that would help us tremendously for a potential flip.
Feel like it's the opposite. If Napier stays, then the program is dead. Recruits usually start to avoid lame duck HC's. If they hire an actual coach, then they could bring some momentum. If Nape gets fired at the end of the season, I would imagine that would help us tremendously for a potential flip.
After watching our DBs I think it's warranted. Is it just Pick and Hanks doing this? If so........ Interesting
He's already committed to Nape right now.Feel like it's the opposite. If Napier stays, then the program is dead. Recruits usually start to avoid lame duck HC's. If they hire an actual coach, then they could bring some momentum.
I don’t know. Him staying gives to way more uncertainty and instability for the program and kid. If they get rid of him and make an exciting hire before signing day I think it might make it more difficult… In the end , the dad loves the program, not NapierHe's already committed to Nape right now.
If he got another year, I don't think that would help sway him to flip to us if the guy he committed to is still there.
If Nape gets fired, that just gives us a high suited spade for that book.
I think I agree with this. Hanks is a legacy, so he is committed to the University of Florida, not Billy Napier. Didn't matter who the HC was at the time when he committed. However, results and performance matters, and Billy is looking really bad right now. Would be different if this was year 1 and he was struggling, but he's in year 3 and there are no signs of improvement. If Napier is replaced, that gives the program a positive change and hope. If Napier stays, the program is dead and the future looks dark and hopeless.Feel like it's the opposite. If Napier stays, then the program is dead. Recruits usually start to avoid lame duck HC's.
