Would be a tough loss. But I think the staff did everything they could to make him feel like a priority.

Sucks that FSU apparently getting Cross, led OSU to pick up the heat on Battle again and which keeps him from us. F*ckFSU

Battle seemed like a 1b / 2a priority. If losing to OSU you can’t get angry since it didn’t seem (and rightfully so) he was our #1. With so much talent down here these are the tough choices you have to make. Good problem to have but tough problem to have with increa$ed competition.

1b?

Who are our top targets after Stevenson?

I think you forgot the rest of your sentence: Rumph (isn’t even Battle’s primary recruiter).

Look Rumph has had his recruiting hiccups but he just played a major role in getting Te’Cory Couch on board. You’re just looking for stuff at this point. Not even valid stuff either.

I dont understand why most cant comprehend this... yes all the schools you mentioned (and most powerhouses by the way)have kids that are quote unquote loyal to them. However its not just the school they are loyal too. With alot of these schools they get the option to be loyal & play close to home or at the school they grew up liking etc & still reap the rewards of their recruitment. THIS IS RECRUITING... its a HUGE BUSINESS and most universities in p5 conferences play it because they are willing to accept the risk involved to win on the biggest stage & to reap the financial rewards associated with winning huge... but not every school has the same network in place. Hence the same possibilities. Im not gonna elaborate beyond that cause it really shouldnt take a scholar to follow along.
We always have to play catch-up. Georgia copying Bama, building an operation that rivals Pentagon, and prrobably exceeds Obama's Pentagon.

Nadab Joseph last cycle was a perfect example of an elite kid who we didn't recruit even though he was in our backyard. The way his recruitment went down it was pretty clear he was chasing bags. So out staff crossed him off the board early and moved on.

And where is he now? JUCO - Couldn't even enroll....
Greed usually correlates with stupid.

He's pretty involved. I just look at the facts and there always is a common thread in these high profile DBs that we're missing on.
