Battle's OSU Visit

Ivins said yesterday that he talked to somebody inside of battle's camp and they didn't think he would committ to osu on this visit. Said had he not took the ov to miami last week it may be different but the staff gave him a lot to think about.

And they were supposed to have their friday night lights yesterday and it was going to be open to the public. Bad weather made them go inside and close it to the public. They were expecting a lot of fans to show up.

Good info thanks.

We gotta “steal” a kid 20 miles from campus at a feeder HS from fcking Methland, OH?
That's our phucking dilemma! The top players within 50 miles of osu, baga and gawga are loyal to their community schools. Our boys are swayed by anybody with promises of stardom and a few dollars. Dude we champs if these guys rep their hood! You can clearly see they all need our boys. Our boys don't seem able to see they can win at home.

Hes looking at all the factories and nuked housing because thats all they can show him...........its pretty much fallout without the ghouls. Well maybe there are ghouls there I may be mistaken. Been there one time it was horrible Im not even exaggerating.

All he has to do is watch these videos and hes visited the school already.

I agree with you but what if it was you. Imagine you're a five star recruit and baga comes in and offers you $100k upfront plus take care of your mom's bills while you are there...

Would you turn that down to stay locally but your mom struggles for 3 years until you get to the league?

At baga they are worshipped, whatever luxuries, and cash until they make it to the league. At Miami they are home with better scenery and women but broke and no one knows who they are.

If I tell you you are going to the league at either school, which would you choose? That's why you give kids like g hall props for staying given all that was thrown at him.

Uhhhh Ohio State isn’t located in Cleveland, it’s located in Columbus and somehow someway it’s actually worse....

...the OSU board continues to be really quiet on battle. I cannot find anything of substance from a moderator or any of their insiders. a few posters are feeling that battle is slipping away and if he doesn't commit this weekend, then they think they lost him. it is strange because the mods are posting all sorts of updates on all the other big time players visiting like Darnell Wright and others but NOTHING specific on Battle

Did he show up?

So idk if this will help us but it appears one of the OSU players may have got in some trouble last night. Hate kids getting in trouble but I'm all for anything to distract their coaches while Battle is on his OV lol.

Rumor that an OSU player got a DUI last night with gun possession.

Can I try and be a fake insider like all the other rats that are popping up? Here goes:

Welcome to the first edition of The Labor:

*** Sources says that Battle is enjoying his visit at OSU and Urban Meyer has spent a lot of 1 on 1 time trying to secure a commitment.

** I was told that no commitment is imminent which is good for Miami heading into the dead period.

** Source says that Battle and his family will meet during the dead period and discuss the pros and cons of each school with a decision coming shortly after that.

Great news!!!! If we lose this Battle it'll be the end of the world!! The U will never be back! Someone needs to get in Twitter pronto and convince him to not commit.

Can you get him to do a podcast?

Thanks for the info, keep it coming!

If you put zero value into your future, and don't care about breaking NCAA rules but (as the FBI investigation shows) federal law, then sure pick Bama.

Kids turn down bags all the time. Its only for a portion that that is some deciding factor. A kid like Stevenson or Battle will most likely be getting NFL cash in 3-4 years. So for a lot of these kids, its not about bags, its about relationships, the value of the degree, how the school sets them up for life. For others, yeah its about the quick, easy cash.

I grew up pretty poor and if I was in their position it wouldn't be hard to say no. No way in **** I'd want to spend 3-4 years in a rural, Southern town, and I was raised to be better than doing what everyone knows is illegal.

Oh and if you think "nobody knows who players are" at Miami, just stop. That could not be further from the truth. Your entire post reads as if you're someone whose only experience with college is from movies/tv

Boo yah !!
You are definitely giving the other asterisk scoop/Intel poster some competition.
Look forward to reading the second edition of .... The Labor...

If they make it into a business decsion can’t deny the talent Ohio state has put into the league most notably in the secondary. Denzel ward Malik hooker marshon lattimore, Conley I’m sure there is more then just those first rounders. Mark richts Miami players have not hit the nfl yet so it seems like battle may be giving us the benefit of the doubt not to mention the home factor and our coaches really do talk a good game and want the best for some of these kids. Also who would you want to play or live in that cold weather for half the year. We are in it but you have to understand why Ohio state is so hot in dbs minds right now.
Ain’t no one sucks an opponent’s ******* like a UM fan. You cats are feeble.

Why would you post a f'ucking sales pitch for Alabama on a Miami website? Seriously, what the f'uck?
