So if everyone hates Dorito now, why did I have to defend myself for years on different forums every time I called out the pathetic scheme, playcalling and personnel usage? What made everyone change their minds?

We've been running the same crap with the same results since Golden was hired. Anyone remember the Maryland game where their supposed stud Fr QB O'Brien (now at powerhouse Catawba college) dinked and dunked his way down the field running a Gary Crowton offense that was canned that very same year? From the very start our D was getting picked apart by talentless teams coached by CFL caliber coaches (that's where Crowton went after Maryland fired him). I know we had some injuries and suspensions for that game but the signs were all there that we have a clueless coaching staff.

I remember the Maryland game. That was where 12 of our best players were suspended "thanks Radio!" which included our starting QB. I'm sure that had something to do with personnel groupings. Big changes weren't even made to the defense that year. What was ran last season was night and day different from season 1.

I remember that game too. Do you remember the first play of the game? Maryland called a timeout on offense!! Why might you ask? They saw our alignment!! Came out of the timeout and we are still lined up the same. Then they proceed to run a 40 yard play to open the game. Was that the players, or the coaches? Would any of the suspended players stop that?

Take out Spence, Vernon, Ray Ray and Forston from that already mediocre defense and I don't think it really matters.

How easily fans forget Williams was brought in from Wake to play on that defense so we had enough CB's to play the game.

The coaches get no pass from you ******* mopes.

Why do you support golden so much? A guy who teams have a history of getting their *** beat in big games, a guy who is supposed to be a defensive coach who has only had 2 top 20 defenses in 14 years, gets outcoached almost every saturday. Is it because he talks well in the press conferencce? And **** out of here with a improving record how many teams have he beat that has more than 6 or 7 wins? You must enjoy watching the team struggle vs wake forest and get blowed out by duke or get *****ed by louisville.

Has PickSix returned yet to explain why the defense last year was projectile diarrhea? It obviously isn't the coaching because ya know, Dorito and Golden are defensive masterminds. And it can't be the talent because Golden is an ACE recruiter, talent evaluater and developer. The coaching was great, the players were great, so what the **** happened?

Watch this video and tell me its not a direct reflection of how we've played over the last 3 years. You can watch the first quarter and substitute it for any game we've played since Golden got here and there wouldn't be a difference. No improvement, from that first quarter against Maryland to the last quarter of the UL game. Same **** different opponents.

I don't even like talking about that Maryland game. Guys like Almighty and 83 will say that game isn't a good representation because of all the suspensions. And I agree to an extent. But you can't say that about the Duke or VT games from this season. Or any game from 2012.

WHEN we suck this year, F.A.G. better be fired after game 12. he lost his chance to throw his buddy under the bus to buy more time. he coulda turned over the defense to a competent DC THIS YEAR and bought himself a couple of years. it is too late for that now

What do players have to do with alignment and the coaches seeing this, calling a TO, and then executing. How can you fault who is out there.

When you have Gaines making his first career start, Chick playing DE at 240 as a true freshman, Perryman playing as a true freshman, Mike Williams starting at CB, some no name scrubs at DT, and bunch of other jags you pretty much are vulnerable to anything. These coaches literally were coaching with one arm tied behind their backs due to all the last minute suspensions they had to deal with. The fact that they kept them to under 20 points is a miracle in its own right.
But like I said you guys play the results. You all were biching that they were giving the Wr's to much cushion but when they moved Mcgee up he gets burned over the top on a critical play late in the game.
But yeah you guys have it all figured out.

Funny how people say Randy left no players for Golden, but Golden's best defense since being at Miami is with Randy's players and that's with players being suspended.
