I don't think they're taking enough kids from South FLA to keep us from being successful. I think FSU has been a bigger threat than they have.

Would I like to have Ridley, Juedy or Jobe? Sure. But a handful of kids over the years isn't going to hold us back from the ACC Championship and a playoff birth. Once we start making those appearances on a frequent basis then it'll be easier to keep those kids home.

We've won recruiting battles over Alabama too. We have several kids who were heavily pursued by Bama in this 2018 recruiting class alone.

There are 8 million people working within 25 miles of the perimeter on any given day (that is 25% of Georgia's population). We spent 5-years in NYC, 4-years in DC, 5-years in LA and grew up in Miami. What I would do is cut off every single illegal from any gov assistance and hopefully the slugs would go home. I'd spend that 130 billion per year building brand new schools in the inner cities. Keep some of the schools for the jags like me and the kids who want to excel build brand new private schools, you get in if you have good grades fair for everyone. We need to get rid of all the liberal ******* teachers and their politics out of our schools. Black kids should have the same opportunity as every white kid and even more so than any Illegal who gets everything for free. AMERICAN Hispanics should have the same opportunity. In MA we had one public school for the entire city, second biggest in the country, with the biggest and best curriculum in the entire country, most of us were bused there. Funny how black kids excelled just like the smarter white kids, there were very few Hispanics at that time.

Some like me had a **** upbringing with my mother leaving when I was 5, I was doomed from the beginning until I got away from them. I'm all for putting most of that money into Minority communities, specially the black communities who have had **** schools in cities for ever. I see what black people can do if given the chance. Two of my black friends in MA were sharper than most people I know. Unfortunately they got off track early and went to jail. Within 6 months of getting out one had a business and a six plex starting fresh with nothing. The other one was just a pure genius that started a business and I wouldn't doubt a multi millionaire now, well both are. All the black kids I knew and hung around with that put their mind to the books all did well. I could name every one of them, running colleges, businesses, doctors, ect.

Now my point for all of this is, we have the greatest country on earth and some of the best and brightest in the world right here, we need to help our own before we help foreigners. We need to start hiring the smartest senior students from our best colleges and say to them you teach our kids for 2-3 years and we pay all your student loans off. Get rid of the jag teachers we have now and keep the good ones.

The boomers will retire, many will just live poorly or in tents like they do in CA. Every one of my boomer friends from Fl are already retired and living fine. But you're right they will create a massive problem that the younger generation will have to deal with. Gotta stop creating more debt like the slug states with all their big gov workers pensions. Teacher and many gov workers making over 100k in CA in pensions alone, when the average worker can't pay their bills. I've got my popcorn, just waiting for the show in a few years. Our gov will be paying Mexican nurses from Mexican schools to be nurses in the USA? That will be the day, CA is the most corrupt regulated state in the country, that will never happen. Trump is the greatest thing to ever happen to the Democratic Party. The registration numbers on college campuses and among newly registered voters period are on staggering pace, and it is the most lopsided slant in modern American history in terms of one party favored over another. Naturally FOX News isn't telling you anything about that, not when it can desperately try to get Mueller fired.

Those young voters won't tilt the scale right now but it is an unbelievable foundation going forward. Trump's approval rating among Americans under 35 is 17%. Dating to Katrina in 2005 you have had 4 years of Republican presidents with an approval rating in the 30s or low 40s...Bush from mid 2005 through the end of his term, and Trump throughout his tenure. With numbers like that it is impossible to understate the registration and partisanship edge to the other side. Voters align with a party based on the popularity of the president when they turn 18 years old. No one reference point holds a fraction of the long term historical value of that simple angle. It is always laughable when people toss out anecdotal evidence as it it holds any value: "I know a guy who was a liberal all his life until..."

I'll rely on the fundamentals and not the outlier fluff. For all the desperate bashing of the word liberal over the past 30+ years, the percentage of Americans who call themselves liberal has steadily climbed from 21% to 26% over those decades. The number of self-identified conservatives has gone up only 2% in the same time frame, from 33% to 35%. The gap is closing all the time, which is why Republicans have so little margin for error in a national vote. They have to rely on suppression and lies, with states like Virginia and Colorado slipping away and others like Arizona soon to follow.

It doesn't have to be parity among liberals and conservatives. Self-identified moderates lean left.

Well I agree with all the colleges controlled by liberals signing up much more dems that conservatives. With probably 80 to 90% of the teachers being liberal what do you think the outcome will be? For many you are what you're taught. Will that matter, yes sooner rather than later. The only thing that really matters now is how MI, OH, VA, Fl, NC, PA, WI and a couple others do under Trump for the short term whether he gets re-elected or not. The rest are solid blue or red. IMO, Bush was far from a conservative and the biggest boob in office I have ever seen. A real conservative would have never got us into a war spending trillions of our dollars. Take a look at the most corrupt states like CA, if you make pretty good money you pay over 50% in taxes to pay for all the illegals and government workers. Gas a buck more a gallon at least.
