The fact that NO ONE has delivered compelling evidence to the NCAA, means either it's untrue, or it's rarely done and not regularly done, OR some boosters need to pay for some private investigators to create a dossier like Fusion GPS and deliver it with a basket of muffins to the front door of the NCAA with a perfumed note stating that they have an opportunity to do something about this, or the evidence and more, goes to the press.

I don't doubt that these things go on, and BAMA has actually gotten in trouble for it in the past, but if it's so rampant, then something needs to be done about it. You contend nothing can be done about it and that's maybe the most naive thing written on this website. You missed it, but that was the point.

To wit, a state university (or private, for that matter) should not be able to just buy players to ensure a national championship appearance every year. In 2018, it's a hard pill to swallow that there's tons of evidence and NO ONE is doing anything about it. Seems like the NCAA would see the obvious, but they choose to remain blind.

Y wont other coaches rat? because they all cheat thats y...in some form or way they wont snitch because they do it too. Every top school does it when the coaches r on board it works out better.

So you don't think Auburn fans have emailed pics of bama players with fancy new cars to the NCAA about a bajillion times? These people know what the're doing and they make it **** hard to see. The NCAA also knows what they're doing, but how hard would you try to bust your cash cow?

We know it's happening because anything that will give anyone an advantage in anything happens. That's a fact of life. There literally isn't anything that somebody won't try and if it works, everybody else will do it too. We also know it's happening because people have admitted they got paid and there's literally no way that that many kids have fairy god uncles to lease a car and let them take it to college. There's no way that many kids dads magically get a job in a far off college town minutes after their son's sign to play football in that town.

Going to Bama for football is like getting into Harvard, Yale or Princeton for academics. Until the U ascends to that level, I don't blame these kids at all. Sucks for us as Canes fans but the program needs to get it's ish together and that hasn't happened for 15 years!
