They won’t but i think they’ll get into the playoff.
Nobody is beating them. Texas will Texas at some point and knock themselves out of it and I just don’t think Michigan will be able to beat them even though they are loaded on the OL which could negate some of their front 7 strength

yeah Sark is not that guy. I would be surprised if they didnt lose a couple bad games.

Consistent being the key word. Just comes down to depth & development. I'd say we're one class away from being a legitimate top 5 squad. NEED to hit on QB,dt & cb. Most everything else is about depth. I'm not worried about dt & cb. QB is what it all comes down to & Emory needs to get some real action & develop or Jaccurri needs that same opportunity. If I had to take one over the other right now I'd take emory but not by much. The potential for sabotaging a **** good squad is no different from what bama is going through this year. Teams traditionally speaking live or die with QB play.
We should be a better prospect for portal kids by the game though right? Personally think we must go that route. Maybe and someone with some class separation

Disagree as of right now. They don’t look as dominant (it’s still early). Something was missing in their opener. Let’s see how they handle their early conference slate (albeit, a weak one).

It’s unfortunate in a certain sense that traditional powers like Bama, Ohio St, and Clemson look much more mediocre. Great for us, but also great for UGA.

I think Michigan right now would give them a **** good game. That defense looks legit.

I don't think people realize how hard it is to win back to back let alone 3 in a row. Something has to give.

I can almost stamp 90% of y’all on this board haven’t seen $400k whole..so for anyone to claim it’s middle class $ needs to be studied..
Absolute buffoonery on that moron's part. That would put him in the 1% club. It would put him in the 0.1% club for 18-year-olds.

99% of this board has never seen 400k a year.

$400K is a whole lot of money for a college kid and likely in the 0.1% club for 18 year olds but it doesn’t put you in “the 1% club” but in 2 states, WV and Mississippi. It does put you REAL close to it in most SEC states. You have to be over $650k to be in “the 1% club” nationally. It certainly is more than “middle class” everywhere.

Look, I get you’re focusing on the 1% /.01% part but 400$k is not remotely close to being middle class.

I’m only addressing the fan base thing..all fan bases have d*k heads in em..ours ain’t worst than the next lol
Absolutely. However at no part in my life have I ever felt the need to say well this group of people does it so why shouldn't I. Stupidity elsewhere doesn't excuse stupidity here. At some point we all have to strive for more.

Yes. But depending on the portal is a tricky slope for numerous reasons. #1 the potential effects it could have on kids already in the room. #2 there is no gaurentee someone with success elsewhere would transition well towards here. They might not get a waiver. They want gaurentees we shouldn't be willing to give in the form of playing time. All kinds of potential hiccups when you bring in a one or two year fix.

Such an intriguing dynamic shift for the "bags" argument. I remember not so long ago we had people on here arguing we had kids who wanted to come here and only took the bag to go to UGA, Bama or elsewhere. Which I guess could be true. Kid really does like Miami but then a bag school kicks it a nickel on top of being good and that would be enough to sway them. But now with bags out in the open its wild to see kids leaving substantial amounts of cash on the table to go to a traditional bag school for far less. I am sure the overall floor of bags has risen but prob not as much for schools already shelling out mcdonalds bags of cash
