2024 Aydin Breland 4* DT from Mater Dei

Both UM and UO. Last I checked on UM’s side, over $1.2mm may have even been bumped since then. Oregon is right there. Doesn’t matter. He’s going to UGA for next to nothing.
That’s amazing… football has so much risk and uncertainty in actually making it to the NFL to play a down (or even making an active roster).

I know this doesn't fit this tread. But I value your eye for talent and honest opinions. How close are we talent and coaching-wise to being a consistent top 5-7ish team? A class or two away? Or do we still have a ways to go?
Consistent being the key word. Just comes down to depth & development. I'd say we're one class away from being a legitimate top 5 squad. NEED to hit on QB,dt & cb. Most everything else is about depth. I'm not worried about dt & cb. QB is what it all comes down to & Emory needs to get some real action & develop or Jaccurri needs that same opportunity. If I had to take one over the other right now I'd take emory but not by much. The potential for sabotaging a **** good squad is no different from what bama is going through this year. Teams traditionally speaking live or die with QB play.

400k I’m Miami is middle class
Same thing with all the major cities
400k in norman ok, might make u 1%
in Miami 400k can’t flex without the guy next to me flexing harder
College pssy is More abundant and I am absolute baller king
I could see why kids go to the small college towns
400k in Miami IN COLLEGE is not ******* middle class, idk wtf you're talking bout lol.
Either way you're living like a king, so why the **** would you want to do that in Oklahoma.

This has been what I've been saying. Long-term the key to us being a National Title Contender and basically being a consistent 9-11 win team is QB.
With the way Mario emphasizes OLine, I think that is the position I'm most confident in consistently being elite. And with that and our location makes RB a position that will consistently be elite. TE is a position we have been elite regardless what coach has been here for over 20 years, so again no worries whatsoever. WR we will absolutely get top talent as long as the scheme of the offense is exciting which we currently have. Maybe this is something to worry about a little bit once Dawson leaves (hopefully not for 3+ years). But these next 3 yrs of WRs we're going to get are about to be legit.

Defensively EDGE and LB recruiting have been great. CB has been lackluster a bit, but like if Cormani stuck and we end up flipping Ellis it would be a 10000% different story... Sometimes **** happens. DT really the only worry right now. Long term if Mario is focusing on it I think we're going to land studs....

QB is the position though that is the most difficult to evaluate and most important. We hit on an elite HS QB, and we WILL be in National Championship contention.

I have to agree with you Cali…..400K is just play $$$ because living expenses are already covered.

Not to mention if a guy is serious about football he isn’t going to have but so much time to spend that $$$. Buddy would ABSOLUTELY live like a King when he’s out and about.

Agree. Some will see it’s closer in time. The staff won’t stop.

Today I’d say UGA but let’s see what transpires the next month.

They are playing the overload game knowing that at least 2 of those DTs will hit the portal in two years.

No way all those guys plus the DTs they already have will see the field.

They’re just going to load up, see who pans out and deal with the consequences.
Same mindset elite programs like Bama utilized. Worked for them. One day we will operate similarly.

No way. This kid isn’t going anywhere without significant NIL. If he’s goes with UGA, they are at least in the same ballpark. Period.
