They would hire an FSU guy from their rival who is lighting it up. It would be the same theory on why its attractive for some people for Coley to come here. Weakens the rival. There is more to it than that. He was after a HC job this year and didn't get them. He probably realizes he will not get a HC job until he is a real OC for a couple of years. Jimbo is NOT going to give up playcalling.

This info isn't coming from the press. If he was certainly just looking for a raise wouldn't this stuff be leaked to the Tally papers and national publications. Unless Pete has Tally connections to his info would be coming from Miami.

Plenty of people wanted Malzahn here. If Coley is part of a staff that goes to BCS bowls and his offense is lighting it up, the FSU fan base will be bonkers over him. Same as the Texas Tech fanbase wanted one of their own in Kingsbury back.
