Don't shoot the messenger...really.

But people I know in Trailerhassee that are LONG time boosters are saying "they hear he is gonna stay." I am posting this because I like you guys seek every kernel of info on these things and press refresh button every 5 mins. So I thought i would pass on what was told to me.

That is all. I got used to the idea of him coming so I am a bit disappointed. Hope my peeps are way wrong.

At this point he has to be coming. If he wasn't, they would be playing up the situation of him staying because of recruiting. They are probably just going through the hiring process (contract, background check, etc.)

From Al's interviews he got crucified by other coaches. Dont you remember Corch saying "get your shots in now"?

That was last year, this year I doubt it. There was one thing I read on here an interview or somewhat, where a recruit said no negative recruiting and im pretty sure it was asked about fsu.

Maybe that one recruit, but recruits arent going to say that publicly. Alex Collins was told by fsu staff we werent going to self impose this year and he wouldnt play in a bowl game for his first 1-2 years at UM if he went there.

I,ll take you for your word I guess. But pete and the fellaz should know, would be good to make a thread about it. But if Coley is a nice guy like everyone says I doubt he negative recruited against us. Everyone says hes a nice guy TIFWIW

All good bro. Maybe its not nearly as bad as I think. I didnt think uf was as bad as fsu because we arent up against each other for many recruits this year. I do remember Carter about to commit and Lamont Green getting a phone call from Coley though telling him to hold off because we were about to get hammered by the ncaa

Wait What?!? Dammmt Danny Mane...It said no such thing. Here is what Barry said:

Thursday morning update: FSU believes offensive coordinator James Coley is leaving for UM. An announcement could come today, but there's nothing official yet.

FSU agreed to match - but not surpass - UM's $500,000 offer. But FSU would not allow him to call plays; Fisher enjoys doing that himself.

At UM, Coley would run the offense and call plays. He has called plays only one season in his life - for a talent-deficient FIU team that finished 1-11.

Coley, a Miami High graduate, also likes the idea of returning home to Miami, where he has family.

Coley's move also could help UM in recruiting.

Nothing about recruiting specific kids. LOL But a day isn't a good day without a DannyBoy sighting!

Whether or not he comes now... the damage has been done, in my opinion.

Toxic working environment for FSU's coaching staff.

The first time FSU stumbles in 2013 Jimbo will snatch play calling duties away from him and it will be nuclear.
 
Nobody brings up the fact we have a senior QB coming back , all 5 starters on the OL and the most electric RB in the county and FSU has Trickett and Coker coming back with a decimated OL and average RB's.

Coley is being set up to fail if he stays at FSU and calls plays.
