From recruits interviews I dont think any particular school negative recruited us including FSU.

From Al's interviews he got crucified by other coaches. Dont you remember Corch saying "get your shots in now"?

That was last year, this year I doubt it. There was one thing I read on here an interview or somewhat, where a recruit said no negative recruiting and im pretty sure it was asked about fsu.

Maybe that one recruit, but recruits arent going to say that publicly. Alex Collins was told by fsu staff we werent going to self impose this year and he wouldnt play in a bowl game for his first 1-2 years at UM if he went there.

Lulz at believing the guy that will offer recruits friends just to get them to sign and when they dont he pulls their scholly. That dude will never give up play calling duties

I,ll take you for your word I guess. But pete and the fellaz should know, would be good to make a thread about it. But if Coley is a nice guy like everyone says I doubt he negative recruited against us. Everyone says hes a nice guy TIFWIW

Makes sense. They have a great recruiting staff and if they were to hinge on negative recruiting it would only make them look stupid in the long run. Not worth the risk for them, especially since I'm sure they have folks that know almost as much as our coaches do about the NCAA business.

I'm a little nervous about him only having 1 season of play calling experience. but I have trust that Al is going to make the right choice, and if Coley is the guy great.

As far as recruiting goes it's a slam dunk hire.

We have them on the ropes. Jimbo wants some continuity in his staff and has already lost his DC this year and a couple position coaches. Hopefully the allure of coming home is enough to get Coley to South Beach. That and the fact that we have a proven QB for him to work with.

What makes me believe hes coming was when he went to mull the descision with his fam yesterday. Someone not interested just says NO like AG did with Tenn. Coley would of said no thanks so the players hes recruiting and the fans know that hes committed. So to me thats a red flag, dude is in his limo on his way to UM to throw a party with AG.

I think Urban Meyer and OSU have been Killing Miami every chance they get. I remember Lebatard asking Golden on his show on what teams actually do this. Golden remained silent but Lebetard said Urban Meyer - and Golden busted a gut laughing... classic.
