What if this is intentional miss information by FSU to mentally destroy us....
It's crazy Diego, that has to be the 5th time ive seen someone think that would be an option. Hello reality, seriously no clue for some.He might have been a good choice. Tulane won't last long. Timing amiss.
You really think someone is going to step down from a HC'ing job for an OC job?

that's not what Bird4um said, though. He meant he may have been a good choice if he'd been available and that he probably wouldn't last long at Tulane, hence "timing amiss".

Don't know if it works that way. If so, it's kind of a ****** strategy. So much work for what? We'd be right back in the position we are now. Coley isn't Gruden. The letdown won't be that significant. People don't even know what he has to offer as an OC.

Desperate move by Miami... Reply
Offering our "OC" who hasn't called a play in 4 years at FSU full control of Miami's offense just to try and soften the blow in recruiting...

Sadly it would work though and hurt our current class. Im not sure it would be a good thing for them in the long run or a bad thing for us but for this class it would f*cking suck

He might not have said it, but others have so we would still be at 4 people who think a college Head Coach would take a coordinators job.

Can you believe these ****... The top guys name is "Jimbro"! Lol!
As is being discussed off the board...
Same source as before, and D$ may be able to confirm: Coley will be made official tomorrow or Friday.
To believe or not to believe Nole sources. Who knows.
I feel like this is a philosoraptor type meme.
I am pretty sure no offer has been extended.

Good Night y'all

Good Night y'all
I was told that UM reached out to Coley to gauge interest and that's all that anyone is saying within the AD's office in Tallahassee. My buddy said that he was under the impression that UM had not made an official offer as of this afternoon. I think this is one of those scenarios where both sides are in contact and speaking in general terms, with a lot of posturing mixed in. I think UM will not send a formal offer unless Al has an assurance that Coley will accept AND Coley passes the standard due diligence (background check). One thing I was told is that Jimbo would abdicate play calling duties (and has told boosters he's not against it), but that he's not convinced Coley is the guy to take the reigns. Not sure if that bodes well for us if he's hired, but wanted to pass that along. Wish I had something more concrete for you guys. D$ may be able to offer some additional insight.
