Where does Miami go from here? The pursuit of Derrick Green is on. He fits what they are looking for as far as a power back. The key will be getting him on campus for a visit. If that happens, the Canes have a legitimate chance with him. The staff knows that they would have Daryl Chestnut in the bag as soon as they offer, so my hunch is that they will go after a guy like Green before him due to their running styles. In the worst case scenario, they could offer Chestnut late and he would commit, which is not a bad back-up plan whatsoever. While he doesn't necessarily fill the big back spot, he is the type of player that people will be asking "How did he get away?"

so what about the RB (Green) from St. Pete? he is still going to F$U too? I bet he decommits and goes to ND if Collins goes to F$U
 
How about we win games and keep recruiting the kid?

There is a novel idea(s). This kid didn't commit to FSU, let's not give up till the ink is dry and let's relax irrational and emotional fan base.

Agreed.

How quickly people forget that we will have less scholarships to give soon, just keep recruiting the kid. Win games too!

Collins ain't the brightest kid in the world as shown by his approach to this process and his low grades and test scores.

He would be our #2 back next year.
 
Trust me, Sony may be the #1 FOOTBALL PLAYER in America when he comes out, and we've seen what Duke can do.

That's no knock on Collins, but he's not better than either.
