Please tell Fritz he’s not in Kansas any more. So, he’s ****ed at us & Guidry over DC’s abrupt departure. And he had an understanding with Guidry not to go after the player he brought with him to Tulane. First, such agreement isn’t worth a ****. No violation on NCAA books for coaching disagreements. Also the idea behind loosening transfer rules was to allow players some of the freedom of movement that coaches have forever enjoyed. Believe the young man is free to select college of his choice - Tulane, Miami, LSU, etc. He shouldn’t be limited by two schools/coaches engaged in a ****ing match.
Finally, do any of our board insiders know what the alleged tampering rules even say, if said rules even exist. Yes, Miami is antsy because of current NCAA doghouse, but if kid still wants to be a Cane bring him in.
To get a stud safety? I think Mario is willing to go through ****...all you say may be correct, but it may not be worth the headache. Even though UM may come out vindicated in the end, the process to get there is nevertheless ****. And who wants to go through ****, if not really necessary?
I don't believe the rules matter when it comes to Miami. When the results of the NCAA "inquiry" came out, I read an article that stated Meier was flagged for a violation that wasn't a violation at the time it was committed. Please tell Fritz he’s not in Kansas any more. what ****?...NO ONE HAS GONE THROUGH **** YET AND EVERYONE IS TAMPERING.all you say may be correct, but it may not be worth the headache. Even though UM may come out vindicated in the end, the process to get there is nevertheless ****. And who wants to go through ****, if not really necessary?
iTS THINKING LIKE THIS THAT HAS CAUSED US TO BE SORRY AZ SH*T FOR 20 YEARS.I think it impacts more than just Mario though... compliance dept., lawyers, public relations, financial resources... we have seen that when an NCAA "cloud" hangs over the program it becomes a big drag on the whole dept. And we are already on "probation" for the Cavinder twins situation. The kid may be a "stud" but he is not bigger than the program. You have to weigh what is best for the program long term vs what may be a short term gain.
Why are there even discussions of "tampering" when the kid is a grad transfer?
i love this..I never understood why we triee so hard to be the choir boys…and I’m not saying our players should be getting arrested I’m talking about we can get down and dirty and be proud of it...because if your gonna be a villain regardless go full on villain
I said what I said.Woah Woah Woah Woah WOAH! I know ur a lil upset brother but
Hey Yo!!!!! Hit the button
Only concern or advice here should be from the in-house compliance folks. They should be able to duly advise if there’s a potential issue or rule that may pertain - or if Miami is free to enroll the player. They obviously can call NCAA & be clear on interpretation of any rules. Seems easy to resolve any issue in advance.I think it impacts more than just Mario though... compliance dept., lawyers, public relations, financial resources... we have seen that when an NCAA "cloud" hangs over the program it becomes a big drag on the whole dept. 97% with you. Reasoning is spot on. The 3% is The Iceman. That's full villain.iTS THINKING LIKE THIS THAT HAS CAUSED US TO BE SORRY AZ SH*T FOR 20 YEARS.
ITS bending the knee when nevin shapiro sh*t hit.....
You cannot be serious about college football if your really concened with ncaa and clouds...whether cirrus or cumulus...i promise you the last teams that have won MNC could give a f about the ncaa or clouds...their admins dont care either.
LOL @ Miami admins caring and being scared of public perception...while doing everything right for 15-20 years and have the whole college world think one of our benefactors is the leader of a drug cartel because we got 2 basketball transfers and a few in football in one cycle. like we cant even get a kid to commit without ppl think..."BOUGHT". When UGA and BAMA has signed astronomical classes and no one thought any of them were bought..yet we have had players off those teams infer as such and its b4 NIL.
They hate you anyway...part of the reason i didnt have Mario as my #1 choice as head coach...it was Lane Kiffin...because if your gonna be a villain regardless go full on villain.
