All-Time Miami-Dade Football Team

This post is hella disrespectful to Bobby Washington lmao

Cool pic here of Dade’s top RB from 03-04. Also Jones was a very highly regarded RB. We signed Washington, Jones and Willie Williams all three and everyone was going crazy.

Man if only Bobby could’ve enrolled and played. Sometimes I find myself imagining how differently things could’ve been from the 2004-2010 era if Butch had never went to the NFL. Local area was littered with talent on the mid 2000s but tons of players either left or didn’t pan out.

03 Killian vs Carol City was legendary. Washington vs the best defensive unit dade has ever seen. WW, Kenny Phillips and R Jean-Francois. Washington’s exact quote “they’re coming from everywhere”

I've heard the stories all my life. My Ol' Girl was a sophomore at Springs when Freddie Miles and Uncle Lomas were seniors there. Obviously I never saw him play, but I'm amazed that he's still considered the best from our hood.

After 40+ years and cats like Willis, Mitch Greene, Gartrell Johnson(Shavers), Chad Simpson and Antwain Easterling. That's one **** of a list of backs that according to those who've seen them all, couldn't hold his jockstrap...

no doubt.

there is freddie miles first.

everyone else is fighting for second place

I can tell you firsthand. He was a sophomore at Springs and I was a senior at Beach. He was un****ingbelievable. You knew then this kid was on another level.

a guy that was a few years older than me from beach was around that era. played at harvard as was a senior when i was still in boarding school. met him on a recruiting visit. his name was andy nolan. was he that year?

Of course Broward had it's share of Greats...but it pales in comparison to Dade....
Where Broward has Dade beat, is at CB.

Broward has without question produced the best CB’s in South FL over the last couple decades.
