Forget QB, we lost out on: Rivers, Calhoun, Odom, Gyabor, possibly singleton and Concepcion and now don’t have much traction with OL and just lost Horton and Mateer commits to OU ?

We are missing out on EVERYONE. I don’t know what the strategy could possibly be but it’s failing.

How the **** did 10-2 hurt us more then 5-7 or 7-5 did

kJ still here. you dont let him leave without a signature. other programs do it why cant we.

my theory is everyone saw cam light it up and still saw us choke away games (ill call cuse more of a choke than Tech) and struggle with mid teams all year. take cam away, the 10 win magic is gone. anyone with eyes can see what we were minus cam. thankfully we had cam and got us to where we are.

Im sure that can be the plan but if they want to win and Guidry/Jaden combo getting cooked all game long, we wont be able to create distance to get him reps to secure W. That is the story of the season, we might even be down.

What are we doing ? It feels like kids are using Miami to up their bags and honestly Mario either HAD to know that mateer was coming to ignore other QBs or he was delusional in thinking he could talk him into it. Either way he better move and move fast and I uhhhh…don’t think he can

Well…it’s not over yet. Not gonna panic yet but man, it’s not looking great.

bingo. Mario is a good recruiter but the portal isnt for him bc he cant do what he does in HS recruiting which is relationship build (well now its mostly gone with the bags winning out more and more). you gotta move quick.

I’d be fine with Mendoza. Do not understand why they didn’t go after the Tulane kid. Once OU got his OC and QB coach they should’ve pivoted.

Mario thinks like this. That is why he has lost 2 of the last 3 games he has coached, still employs a DC who has proven to be unable to coach at this level, has a WR room that is totally unproven, has QBs that nobody else wants as starters, has a DB room that FSU laughs at [let that sink in for a moment]…….yes we should just wait. Mario has earned our trust with 5-7, 7-5 seasons [without a top 3 NFL draft pick QB,]*,oh and with GaTech [2x], Syracuse, yes trust has been earned…….But, he is focused on the PopTarts Bowl and we can always root SMU.**



*Diaz was fired for going 7-5.

**After typing this, I may just go all WEZ and fly a banner myself.

In the military we have a saying “analysis is paralysis”.
We also say “failure to plan is planning to fail”.

Idk the intricacies of Cam Ward’s decision. But it appears like we were fckd and had to pony up and got lucky AF.

Look at the qb rooms at Oregon, OSU, and uga.
Not one Emory Williams or Judd in those squads.

We keep hearing that money isn’t the problem. But it sure as Fck looks like we’re getting outspent again or we don’t have the plans in place to satisfy the receivers (J Smith).
We’re banking on an fiu dude and a bad foot lsu reject. Even the fiu dude is on wait and see mode and a dude like that that’s already in the same city should want to sign on the **** spot.
