It is hard for me to believe that we have one of the best defenses in America and only can get one guy as a second team all ACC performer.

Maybe this is even more of a reason to give Manny a raise, he did so much with so little.

So little? Not, even with the departures and injuries there still was a bunch of talent. Now little experience? Yeah sure..

Lmao, come on man. Brockwurst is clearly saying the notion that Manny Diaz turned dog**** into lucky charms is a lil farfetched. The cupboard wasnt bare.

Can someone explain to me how 5 kickers got more votes than Badgley in the All-ACC Voting?

-He scored the most total points
-Tied for #1 in field goals made
-Only one kicker had a higher FG %
-One of only 2 kickers on the list to make a 50+ field goal
-Was 9/9 from 40-49

How does a guy who went 9/15 get more votes than him?


Was it:
-lack of game winning kicks? (Miami had no win by less than 10 points)
-missing the game tieing extra point against FSU?

It's more or less the media doesn't know what the **** they are picking and just recognizes a name and votes. Blewitt had a decent season at best outside of kicking the game winner against Clemson. Yet, everyone remembers he made that kick and not that he misses a third of his kicks on the year.

That tells you all you need to know about how the ACC feels about Miami...

I understand Clemson is a great team & will probably make it back to the CFP again, so they deserve all the props they get... But the ONLY reason Legett gets 1st team is because he plays for Clemson.

Put those same stats he has on a team like Wake Forest or Syracuse & he wouldn't even be mentioned.

We had some good TEs in the ACC this year...

Maybe they felt Njoku was not the starter and got a lot of his stats from the WR position...that's the only reason I can see why they put 4 guys ahead of him.

Name another TE in ACC, or nationally for that matter, that a coach in the ACC would take ahead of Njoku. REALLY?!?!?

You realize that the awards are subjective, right?

1. Manny did a tremendous job this year. Nobody would argue to the opposite.

2. Besides the safeties, those kids have some serious talent out there.

3. Whether or not the award givers/voters acknowledge it is irrelevant. We have a darn good combination of talent and DC.

It would not shock me if there was 5-7 kids on this defense that were in the league one day.
