All ACC Team Announced

Wow, who's running that show? The same people who are in charge of selecting the game officials. Pitt had FOUR on first team? JOKE.

With the big man Rick jumping in, this is clearly a concerted effort by the coaches to take a **** on the ACC. We've been getting fcked all year by the game officials. Now, it's time to fight back publicly a little and tell the ACC to suck the entirety of our *******.

P.S. Who's Rick visiting in Denton, TX?
polendy. TE.

The people who vote on this **** clearly don't watch all the games or pay much attention. They usually load up on guys from the most successful teams.

Its usually loading up on players from successful teams (especially in smaller conferences) or stat reading. ACC had five TE essentially clumped up together statistically. I am sure most of these votes were cast before the final game, too.

I don't see too many issues with the All-Conference teams, usually, anyway

Funniest of all is that Pitt has a first team defensive player. I mean, they were putrid. Maybe he only looked good by comparison.

On TEs, 5 of the country's top 10 TEs by receiving yards were in the ACC. And only two of those other 5 are in power 5 conferences (PSU and Ole Miss). Just a really competitive year.

Fcuking amazing to see our coaches speak up about this ridiculousness.

I remember that was one of the many things I hated about Shannon.

Dude was soft and never defended the team like that to the media

Ejuan Price was 5th in the nation in sacks (more than Chad Thomas and Joe Jackson combined), 2nd in the nation in tackles for loss (same number of TFL as Chad Thomas and Joe Jackson combined).

How the **** did wayne gallman get 2nd team over walton? Dude has like 800 yards.

All-ACC teams are voted on largely based on what players did in ACC games. Gallman's stats were better than Walton's in just ACC games.

No they weren't walton closed with 127 more yards on 3 less carries in the last 4 games...

Walton even had a better ypc than cook

Yes, Walton was better over the last 4 games....but the ACC schedule is 8 games. You're only showing half the season.

That doesn't take into account how bad Walton was in the first 4 games, when he had 64 carries - 203 yds - 3.2 ypc - 1TD, and his longest run was 14 yds

Walton's strong finish got him to 3rd Team All-ACC, but over the full season Gallman was better

Walton vs. Gallman.webp

So, you're saying that he is good?

Sure.

Most surprising about this team is how in the **** did Cook not get all the votes for 1st team RB. 5 voters did not select him.

Second most surprising is Njoku

Yeah. Hate FSU, but Cook's the best RB in the nation this season. How did he not sweep first place votes for RB in the conference. Let me guess, Hood got some of them?

Good.

Richt carries enough weight that these types of comments mean something. Just like I expect the officiating b.s. to tone down a little over time (never entirely), depending on how much he takes issue with it.

Not sure how much things will change, but I'm happy someone is speaking up who is worth listening to.

keep ron cherry away

I have a feeling Richt is going to be consistently unhappy with the Tobacco Road and 'old guard' ACC bias in this ****heel conference.
