Alex Collins finally signs with Arkansas

This kid has too many issues. Even if his mom won some legal battle I wouldn't want him anymore. Kid made his bed, let him sleep in it.



I understand the mom though if she feels like this Gatewood guy screwed her son and her family over then she has to do what she feels like she has to do. I'm sure there is alot more to the story than we know about.



Either way, I don't think we need any of that ****. We got Gus Edwards. I'm fine with that.

His brothers weren't there either, so I might question the veracity of his statement concerning his mother' opinion of this move. It looked like he really has a great relationship with his father. He quickly shook his hand and then broke camp. LULZ

That is really telling.. no Mom, no brothers... sure they're all in! It will be "entertaining" to see how this unfolds.

Tell you what, if the kid was bought off, Im betting the deal was sealed up in Atlanta. Kid tells us and his family he's coming here. Then he jets off to Atlanta to annouce, which makes absolutely NO sense, his coach, meanwhile, is MIA, and acting like he hasnt seen or talked to Collins for days (Plausible Deniability), Collins takes no friends or family with him, suddenly, gets on the air, and Voila, he announces Arkansas. Shocking everyone who he had told he was going to Miami, including his own family.

The Fix was in, and the Atlanta trip is probably where the final deal was sealed. Guntwood's behavior in all this is about as guilty as it gets. First he doesnt go to Atlanta with AC?? Really? In every interview he's sitting right next to Collins, virtually answering questions for him, now suddenly the kid is going to be on TV annoucning, and his coach "hasnt seen him or talked to him for a few days"??? Really? Then when the mother flipped out, Guntwood disappears, doesnt even show up for the signing of his other players. How ODD, for a coach who has assured everyone that he has no vested interest in WHERE AC goes to school, but as soon as the drama unfolds, Guntwood vanishes and misses the signing ceremony for all the other players at the school?

This was such an obvious scam its pathetic. Im sure the NCAA will get right on it, after they finish tallying the tens of millions of dollars and two years they have wasted investigating meals at Benihana from Nevin Shapiro.

That's exactly what any consumer of legal services who hires the Johnnie Cochbag Firm would expect. It's his name. Why wouldn't you expect him to be there handling your case?
 
What happens if they find out his "dad" relinquished his parental guardianship over Alex awhile back?

Ho hum. Just another case of a gag order being placed on HS coach over a recruit signing out state. Happens all the time.
 
Missing out on Collins could be a blessing in disguise. If this allows us to land both Michel/Cook in 2014 we will be fine. Duke can handle the majority of the load next year and could have a heisman typer season if he stays healthy. If not then we could be in trouble cuz Collins is a big talent and were not deep at RB.

He could be there but he won't be handling any cases since Johnny Cochran died like 7-8 years ago.
Unless you are talking about another lawyer and not the one who defended O.J.
