Alex Collins finally signs with Arkansas

I have no problem with Collins to Arkansas. my main beef is with every one running stories that aren't substantiated and then some how flipping it back on us such as that bs that we hired the lawyers. people on twitter are going ham with their ridiculous opinions. it'll be great to see these whole thing unravel as the fraud that it is if the mom keeps fighting.

Look, Im not accusing anyone of anything per say, becuase I have no EVIDENCE of anything. I just find the mother's obsession with this to be a bit odd. Wasnt it reported that Collins was actually LIVING with Gatewood for a while? So it was ok with her that AC was living outside her home, but now she's going to hire lawyers, and go to COURT, to block her ADULT son, from goign to the college of his choice? Does that seem logical to anyone?

IF there was some shady stuff that went on, and I think there probably was, then Collins was very much a part of it. I dont see why the mother would take it this far though.

I think that's likely. If her lawyers are in it for publicity it's in their best interest to drag it out and make it as explosive as possible.

He may have gotten screwed, but he's doing so willingly. Im sorry, but his actions in the last 24 hours are NOT of a kid who thinks or knows he is getting screwed or jerked around. In HIS head, he wants to go to Arkansas. And that's all that really matters here. Gatewood may be a scumbag, and hopefully he will get outed if he DID pull shady stuff, but at the end of the day, it has nothing more to do with us. He doesnt want to be here, THAT much is obvious at this point.
 
SO now they are saying the mother APPROVED the signing, but she still hired a lawyer? Something is VERY wrong here.

Nah... Mom found another meal ticket. I am guessing she is going to sue local news stations and papers for slander/defamation... Book it.

I'm over this kid.

Looking forward to seeing him get his **** kicked in in the SEC next year and Guntwood stroking out.
 
Given the fact that the mother wasn't at Bokamper's for the signing ceremony and they had to drag Johnny Collins in for the signing, I don't think I;m going too far out on a limb by concluding that the mother didn't approve this.
 
Johnny Cochran franchised his name and sold the rights. I wouldn't necessarily count on Johnny Cochran type of lawyering just because you hired "The Cochran Firm."
