Id take him as a backup, sure.
Lots of starting experience and successful in it only.

In the grand scheme of things I'd rather us have Air Noland than Mateer due to the fact he has multiple years, a super high ceiling, and it gives us more money to get difference makers on defense. I'm not saying he is better than Mateer RIGHT NOW. I just rather have someone you can build around going forward.
Noland had his chance and he spit in our face then went to Ohio StateIn the grand scheme of things I'd rather us have Air Noland than Mateer due to the fact he has multiple years, a super high ceiling, and it gives us more money to get difference makers on defense. Just to let you know Mateer has multiple years......In the grand scheme of things I'd rather us have Air Noland than Mateer due to the fact he has multiple years, a super high ceiling, and it gives us more money to get difference makers on defense. Everybody welcome Norlands mom/dad/brother/whatever relative to the boardCompare Mateer's tape to Air Noland's tape at the same age.... We get caught up in the moment but don't take into account stages of development. Noland's tape was elite. He just made his initial decision with his heart and not his head. OSU being his dream school led him to making a bad business decision.
You obviously don't know Mario. No way he lets Emory throw it 45 times. You are going to be the same person on here crying when you find out Mateer has a no contact tag on him... You will also be the same person on here complaining if Air Noland ends up killing it somewhere else, meanwhile Emory is going 17/45 for 175 yards 0 TD (9 of the 17 being bubble screens).

It's only a bidding war(for P4 QBs) if the team has a bad season or if a player from a smaller schoo/stagel is trying to move up in competition. I have yet to see a myriad of QBs contemplating leaving the upper echelon universities coming off of a successful team/individual season. You are correct in regards to the positions though.
If you need MORE proof that the ranking system is just a joke watch Noland apparent highlights for a second or two... That kid has worse mechanics than Malik rosier had. If there's anyone who should have the athlete tag applied to them it's him. He's clearly a great athlete but an equally **** QB.
Remind us again why we're looking at High School Mateer tape to figure out who he is when we have College game film?Compare Mateer's tape to Air Noland's tape at the same age.... Ground NolandCant throw
shower towel and jock strap cleaners. ****, they would be lucky to be allowed in the locker room.If Emory Williams or Judd Anderson were at Ohio State where do you think they would be on the depth chart....You are talking about a top 2 program of all time with the best roster from top to bottom in the country...
Sounds like you're talking about a back-up. Is there anything other than this '24 Spring Game footage to go on?In the grand scheme of things I'd rather us have Air Noland than Mateer due to the fact he has multiple years, a super high ceiling, and it gives us more money to get difference makers on defense.
