Rub the sand out of your butt, eat a snickers and come back when you feel like it.

Don't let the mopes drag ya down...

And, yeah, I know, I'm really one to talk, right?

But I love your shiny metal (German) a$$ and we can't lose you right now...

Feeley has been good like some of have said however Strength coaches are the culture builders of a team and it's very rare for a HC to keep a strength coach, no matter how good when the team was losing

I would be shocked if feld doesn't come the more I think about it

You'd be less inept than the administration

I have to admit, this is glorious:

Mario won his 2 bowl games at Oregon by 1 point each. The team fell apart in 2020 and 2021. Hardly the mark of a great S&C program. Use Ole Miss and their last few games of the 2021 season as reference of a great S&C program. But they have Bama's S&C program. Mario doesn't have anything close.

Ole Miss beat unranked Vandy and MS state for its last 2 games. It also beat Libery by only 13. They beat Arkansas by 1 and Tenn by 5. So because Mario doesn;t get credit for a 1 point win in a bowl game I guess take away Ole Miss close games...

Really the only solid win for Ole Miss has been A&M... They beat Tulane, Austin Peay, Liberty, Arkansas (by 1 so it doesnt count according to you) Tenn (by 4), a bad LSU team, lost to auburn, then good win at home against A&M (who lost 4 games) then beat 2-9 Vandy and 7-5 Ms State.

Are you talking Bama pre-2020? Or post 2020? You keep referencing Bama but they changed S&C coaches from Cochran to Ballou, which means they most likely tweaked the S&C philosophy as well. Ballou came from Indiana, so were they top notch while he was there? He wasn't Bama before he was Bama.

What truly sets Bama away is 2 things:
- They run their program like a pro team with proven results, so the atmosphere and culture there is unlike most programs.
- They have a ridiculous $20M Sports Science Center that helps in all aspects of S&C, recovery, rehab, mental health, etc. There's some videos out there of what's involved but it's cutting edge stuff.

Also, Feld did spend time at Bama and UGA. I'm not advocating for him as i know very little about the man, but it's not like he's oblivious to what those big programs are like.

Apparently Bama tried to hire him away at one point. He must be pretty well respected in the field if that was the case. Good enough for Bama is good enough for me.
