If people knew how much better Bama's S&C program is than what Oregon has. Upgrade to the absolute best. Offer the best S&C in the country more money.

UM isn’t beating Bama in the CFP without MASSIVELY upgrading the S&C program to Bama standards. Since Mario was always the only candidate and has unheard of leverage there’s no reason why he won’t bring his outdated S&C program led by Feld. This is UM, obviously they wouldn’t put any thought into whether Mario’s S&C was any good or should be upgraded judging by the fact he was always the only candidate. If Feld is retained the admins playing you.

Hopefully that’s where Highsmith comes in and both work to get a S&C similar to Bama or NFL standards.

I’m just pumped we’re going to play bama in the playoff. Any idea when tickets go on sale?

You're the ones who somehow believe UM cares about winning now when they could've cared less 3 months ago. What changed, Herbstreit? There was 1 candidate, Mario. The admin could care less about his antiquated S&C program and is covering all their bases so that when he fails they can say "we tried our best" by hiring Mario.

The admin is playing you.

Might be because Utah is fundamentally very sound.

Injuries are also luck in a whole lot of instances.

Getting dominated does not mean one guy is stronger. A lot has to do with leverage, technique and executing assignment football.

Mirabal does not suck because his unit got handled twice. Just like the strength and conditioning doesnt suck. Oregon has played some really good football under Cristobal.

I know he's pretty well respected and worked in the strength program under Saban when Mario was there as well so if Feld wants to, I'm sure he'll be here.


I mentioned in another thread that Oregon looked small and got pushed around by Utah both games which was concerning but admittedly that's the only games I've watched so I'm pretty naive on it. How you guys feeling about it?

With Tommy back on the market, don’t be so sure about who will be the S&C coach. Whatever Mario wants, he will get. I’m curious to see what he does. There’s a lot of great ones out there and fwiw the one he has now isn’t too shabby.
