I don’t care who is running S&C here. Blades ain’t recovering that fumble against TAMU regardless.
And that pinky that made Rooster fumble vs UNC happens regardless as well..we really debating the S&C program as though any has a clue (unless your in the winter program)..**** the offseason

Al Blades taking "body" selfies? OK. We will see if he even starts for Duke. He was not good enough to start for his HS team, but somehow got a scholarship to Miami. He never was a starter here that I can recall. Duke is a good spot for him to compete as a 7th year Sr.

Yeah. No clue how a 4* top 100 DB from South Florida was good enough for a Miami offer... ****, look at his offer list...only includes schools like Bama, UGA, FSU, Auburn, LSU, Tenn, Oklahoma, Michigan, Pitt, and Penn St. Wasn't he also one of the best cover corners nationally in 2019 and 2020 before the COVID/Heart issues derailed his athleticism?

You keep track of strength and conditioning coaches..be honest, you don’t lol

Come on now you haven’t figured out his shtick yet? Sad and lonely person looking for attention. It’s miserable living in a rent controlled walk up in the New York area with no prospects for your future.

He was our best corner before the health issues.

Swasey wipes his *** with this clown. Believe what you want about him....F all the BS on here that people regurgitate about him. Ask someone like @Brooklyndee who played at UM...and who trained under him before assuming the BS you hear on here is Gospel.
Sorry but if you can’t pass simple certification tests to prove you are an expert in your field then I’m not going to trust that you know what you are doing. It’s like hiring a lawyer who can’t pass the Bar or picking a doctor for surgery who lacks a medical license or board certification…..or a more direct example for you since I know how serious you take cooking, it’s like saying any line chef at TGI Fridays can work in fine dining. They may have a good understanding of things but it doesn’t mean they are experts.

S&C has come a long long way since Swasey’s day. Back then, guys who simply worked harder usually saw better results. Motivational coaches were just as successful as legit experts on functional strength movements and injury prevention. That is typically not the case any longer. Science and performance tracking is cutting edge today. I worked out with powerlifters and bodybuilders in college. We puked on leg days. Our hands bled from deadlifts. These guys looked the part and ran ridiculously hard workouts that made people grow but some had **** form and taught that **** form, leading to one guy developing a back problem years later. So yes, everyone may have raved about them in the moment but it doesn’t mean they were truly qualified.

I respect Dee, so this is not me questioning his view of people. He’s one of a short list of guys around here i appreciate views and feedback from. I just have a different view of S&C bc my career has been spent in the science and medical field, not just from a casual fan standpoint.

Well then ask @Brooklyndee yourself, or any number of NFL All Pros that seeked him out during the offseason for 20yrs. When a plethora of College AAs and NFL All Pros (including several HOFers) Rave about someone...I'll roll with them over anyone's opinion. As an example, I've got a Bachelors in Culinary Arts from the Premiere Culinary school in America, but I worked with, and under Executive Chefs with no degree whatsoever, that were every bit as good, and in alot of cases, better than the Chefs with Degrees.

It’s a dumbass debate. But it’s an easy low hanging fruit argument that people latch onto.

Swasey was good for agility and speed. Once all the players Moffitt had most the influence over left we started getting our *** bullied up front on both lines of scrimmage. That 2005 Peach Bowl against LSU started our down fall.

@SWFLHurricane something else people dont realize is the coaches can dictate what the s&c program is like. For example, Golden wanted kids to look a certain way.

We were getting our *** pushed around late Coker, Shannon, and Golden. Stop making excuses. I'll give Swasey his due in regards to certain pieces of his program. However, his program sucked when it came to the strength part.
