AQM and Mccord behind Harris is ******* joke! Sick of these stupid mind games. These kids clearly busted their asses this offseason and then this...

No point to it.

Maybe Harris also busted his *** this offseason and has out played them so far?

Maybe they didn't bust their *** hard enough on the field, ever think of that? Or maybe Trent busted his harder? Or maybe Golden, with his masters in psychology or whatever, knows more about motivating the players he is around every day than you do?

Every ******* year people complain about the same thing the first time the depth chart comes out. Every ******* year, come Game 1 the depth, chart flies out the window and the best players play.

Coley is listed as Dorsett's backup. Is there a God **** doubt in the world that he will be on the field on the first play of the season?

Huge Delphena (or whatever) is currently tied with Gayot and above Kiy. You think he will really get more burn than Kiy or Gayot?

You think that there is any ******* chance in the world that Wells will be playing over a fully healthy Feliciano, who the staff has loved for 4 years, come 9/1?

Wake the **** up.

Lol the madden effect man, it's trained our generation to think about football in such a simplistic way. Glad to see there is actually some people who realize the reasons are plenty for Golden to do his depth chart the way he does.

Golden's depth charts drive me bat **** crazy!!

While that may be true, it's actually quite irrelevant. Those depth charts aren't for the benefit of the fans, they are for the team, as they should be. If the fans don't like how it's done, oh well.

So you don't think that Harris could possibly be just as talented?
And maybe he busted his *** just as much this offseason?

There may well be some motivational aspects to this depth chart, but many of us may also have some misconceptions. Sometimes it's difficult to tell the difference. For instance, maybe Golden's opinion of Hunter Wells is different from that of many of us.

Golden has talked about wanting to identify 10 OL's. Is Hunter one of the top 10? He may very well be.

Another thing is that anything that doesn't fool a lot of the people on this board is unlikely to fool many of the kids either. So why would Golden even bother.

I quit caring about these depth charts a long time ago, it's fiction. The reactions are still comical though, that makes the thread worth reading .

I'll never understand the posters that complained about "the country club" atmosphere of the past then are insulted when players have to earn their starting jobs.

some of you guys are pretty thick in the cranium. the depth chart is nothing more than a progress/status report. it is meant to identify who is doing well and who is not. it also full of motivational messages. get over it, its the first goddam one of the year. save the meltdown for another time.
