Kid started in the scrimmage and today. Doesn't make much sense to now remove him from the depth chart. If Feliciano was full go the last couple of days we all know he would be first.

Everyone who is bad early in their career has no shot of getting better, right? Wells will be nothing more than a backup here, but I remember Ben Jones and Jeremy Lewis being guys without positions their entire careers and being "terrible". Their senior years they became solid backups who played quality snaps.

Did you guys think they'd release a different depth chart than what was actually the depth chart today?

Agreed. Crazy Trent Harris is pushing that hard. Guess he put his early enrollee status to good use. He played high school around here, wish I would have gone to see a game or two.

Also maybe I'm crazy or a bad fan but who the **** is this delaphena guy? I've never heard of him

People need to chill out and wait for the season for the actual chart. If Golden just hands spots on the chart for guys not busting their *** then why would they work as hard as necessary???

Regardless of mind-games, the players that you are probably expecting to start will be in the line up on opening day. He's letting guys know what he expects of them. He's done it with guys like Denzel in the past and now he knows what is expected of him and he brings it every day. The fact that they pushed him to do this will help him in his career.

We need the work ethic to be what it was in the late 90's by every player....then we can start talking championships.
 
Feleciano missed some time and Scott has an undisclosed injury.

I actually think Wells is as good as Shane and Gall.


I compared Wells an Gall In spring game play after play thought Wells was substantially better.

No offense to Malcolm or Dorsett but if Coley not starting fuccc my life the rest of the depth chart is what it is.

And losing those two linebackers is really gonna hurt if Fentress ever starts at outside backer for us.
 
love the first depth chart. I think we should be excited about it. Wayyy back in 2012, we took our lumps, had an NCAA investigation going on. All these Juniors and Seniors that are on the depth chart have played lots of football. Just look at the DE position with Harris, McCord and AQM! That is depth fellas! Linebacker is a little light but that is due to 4 knuckleheads that got tossed off the team the last 2 off seasons (deservedly so). this depth chart is a reward and a challenge to all players, they know this. Do you guys feel Stacy Coley isn't going to play?
 
With the **** Golden has put on some of these depth charts how could anybody be surprised by anything he does at this point?
