How is this for the players they know exactly what is going on? He is not fooling anybody with this depth chat, but maybe he learned this in his Sports Psychology classes at Virgina.

Regardless of mind-games, the players that you are probably expecting to start will be in the line up on opening day. He's letting guys know what he expects of them. He's done it with guys like Denzel in the past and now he knows what is expected of him and he brings it every day. The fact that they pushed him to do this will help him in his career.

We need the work ethic to be what it was in the late 90's by every player....then we can start talking championships.

Everyone knows what Golden's system is year round. He promotes and demotes only in the here and now. Big deal...if a long shot to ever see the field busts his *** while a starter takes a day off...why the **** would you reward the starter and further demoralize the long shot?

We know Stacy is starting and such. but this IS a motivational ploy for guys like joe yearby, gus edwards, clive, stan, beau etc.. those spots are far from solidified

this is exactly why you want your big DTs to come in January. I said it back then, if Wyche shows up to camp in June over 320, he will have wasted year 1. Welp, he showed up at north of 340. I don't expect much out of him this year, sadly.
 
Holy overreaction people. Its a first depth chart. How about we give Hunter Wells credit for actually maybe getting better or some of the guys that have been questioned....

Relax....relax....just ******* relax people. Some of you get your panties all wadded up for nothing. This isn't nor will this be the final depth chart
 
Not going to get all fired up but my biggest disappointment was seeing Kirby as a starter then Armbrister.
