8/14 Official Depth Chart

If it were a real issue, would he really still be on the depth chart?

Not in Golden's hands. So yes. Or he's optimistic of the outcome.

I understand that. I've served on the Student Conduct Board as well as Student Athletic Advisory Committees where I teach, so I understand how this works. My point is, if the coach is leaving him there, he hasn't been given reason to think it's too serious.

It is serious. I'm surprised he's been with the team, in a full capacity. It isn't Figs bad, not even close. But it is serious.

Is it Eddie Johnson type of bad then?

EJ had a history. Quan does not.

Dorito's hate for grace is disgusting .

Yeah, he just called him an every down player and said its important to find ways to get him on the field because he is a great blitzer and very instinctual. But he hates him.

Only someone related to that POS could possibly defend him as much as you do.

Reveal yourself

Why would fincane have to be related to D'Onofrio because he pointed out that the poster attacking him lied? If you've got a legitimate beef against someone, then you shouldn't need to lie about that person.

My thoughts:

(1) Wells is only listed because Feliciano has missed a few practices with a minor injury;
(2) There should be an OR for Chocolate at the RB position with Gus
(3) Chickillo has been a beast
(4) Neither Trent Harris, Tyriq or Quan have really separated themselves so I think they kept that position the same as the last depth chart for now
(5) Not a big Armbrister fan personally but he has earned being the starter at that spot for now, had a great scrimmage
(6) The only two judgments that go against what I have seen at practice is Kamula has been more impressive than Pierre and Grace has made more plays than Kirby. But I will qualify that Kirby has not taken as many reps due to being rested.

Oviously, Coley will play a lot. However, Dorsett is a great leader, and a pretty **** good player as well. I think the plan is to use Coley on KO and PR then have him as the first off the bench to keep him fresh.

I think that even though Chocolate has looked good, I think it will take him till late in the year to get on the depth chart. I have a feeling he is out of shape. He looks a bit soft, I would be willing to bet that this time next yr he is around 210 and chiseled......

As far as safeties, CB's and even LB's I dont worry too much as we use so **** many of them anyway. I just do not want to see a defense without 52 on the field. I am kind of worried about DC or JC getting booted out of games for knocking heads, so we better have some other options...lol

Wyche is not on there because he is waaaayyyy out of shape, todays vids show a coach pushing him in between drills, kids probably doing a lot of walking these days.. and the staff does not love that.

I do not get the Harris thing, he does not look as big or fit as McCord or AQM. We know AQM has busted his but this off season, kid is a monster. I am sure there is something going on there we don't know... maybe its the grades thing or maybe Harris is just a legit playmaker.

Fentress is a football player, give him credit. And you can give a guy credit without taking credit away from someone else. So maybe him being on there is a credit to him and not a knock on Grace. I think it is pretty obvious that Grace will play a LOT.

The OL is scary to me, I was hoping Odogwu would have locked up a spot.... Not in love with using KC or Darling there, but if they give us the best shot a winning then go for it.....

My thoughts. Get ready for a lengthy write up as usual.

QB: I still think Kaaya gonna win this job.

RB: Doesn't surprise me Yearby is #2 behind Duke. Just shocked it's this early. Gus still gonna get a lot of touches too. Gray going to play too.

FB: Tucker is going to be our fullback. Watch. Only has an or cause he plays offense and defense now. Tucker money position is on offense.

WR: Why is staff only listing two WR spots? We usually come out in a lot of 3 WR sets and have always listed our Depth Charts with 3 WR spots. Also my starters, Coley, Dorsett or Waters, then Lewis in slot. Also, starting to get worried with Scott. Didn't show up at practice and not in the chart.

I expect it to look like this Labor Day,

X: Stacy Coley | Tyre Brady
Y: Phillip Dorsett or Herb Waters
Z: Malcolm Lewis | Braxton Berrios

Don't read too much into Coley not being a starter, this staff is not stupid. Some moves on this chart are motivational purposes. Waters gonna play some Z too as well as Coley. Waters will rotate a lot with Phillip. I expect Berrios and Brady to make some moves as season progresses.

Also, Stacy is not 6'3. Has to be a typo.

TE: Don't color me surprised for Dobard as starter right now. Even though I think Walford will get the nod come Labor Day but Dobard a stud and one to watch this year. Sandland #3 like I expected.

OL: Not reading much into this. Been injuries, our starters on Labor Day from L to R will be Flowers, Feliciano, Shane, Isidora, and KC. With Gall and Darling first off bench for fatigue and injury.

DE: Chick starting like I expected, having a strong camp. Their is no or between Chad and Jelani that is for sure. Chad been killing it, tough for staff to keep him off field Labor Day.

As for Harris as #1 I'm still chalking it up as motivational. Don't see how McCord and Muhammad don't start over him. Both have been running a lot with first team. Harris will definitely get burn though. I expect to see an or between McCord and Muhammad come Labor Day but they will find ways to get both on field.

Expecting big things from McCord, Muhammad and Chad from a pass rush standpoint this year.

Where is DJack, he's been lighting it up. Maybe staff trying to save a year and develop him more I'm guessing.

DT: Pierre starting not surprising, hope he becomes consistent cause he does have the ability. I expect Wyche to crack his way in more as we get closer to Labor Day. Heurt has the other side, but watch for Kamalu, Kamalu is a freak and my favorite personally as a 4-3 DT to go along with Pierre. For 3-4 NT, either want Wyche or Heurt. I think Moore becomes serviceable but nothing great. Hoping Moten or Jenkins step up and make a surprise, but not expecting it too much at this point.

LB: Let me begin. Grace better be starting come Labor Day, killed it in spring, killing it in fall. 4.4 speed, can play the run and the pass. If he doesn't start on Labor Day, I will start to believe the staff plays favorites.

I don't want no Armbrister, enough is enough for me.

Owens very promising, and let me say. Cause I've mentioned about moving Kirby to strong side so Grace can start at weak side. If they don't do that, then just please start Owens. I DO NOT Want Armbrister.

Young needs to develop a bit more but can be a good one in the future.

Perryman gonna kill people.

Heard Kirby been solid, hoping he makes a junior jump, has shown flashes but must be consistent.

My hope and best case scenario. Move Kirby to strong, move up Grace to the lineup and have Denzel in the middle and you have a legit group. And have Owens get lot of burn too. I want this, come Labor Day. Hope the coaches see it. Cause we do.

I don't expect for Fentress to get a lot of time at linebacker but I do expect him to be a special teams demon and the leader of the group.

CB: Really no surprise here IMO. Expected Howard and Gunter to start and it will stick. My surprise here is the or being between Antonio and Artie, I think personally Artie wins out. I expect Artie and Corn to put a lot of pressure on Gunter as season goes by. And will make great competition and improved play. Possibly best cornerback unit since days of Rolle and Jennings.

S: Called it earlier today. Dallas and Deon as starters and I expect it to stick. Yeah I'm a big Carter fan too, but it is experience though. But just like I expect Artie and Corn to push at corner. I expect Jamal to push Dallas and Deon. As well as I expect all 3 to have just about the same amount of snaps as they will all rotate a lot. And Deon and Dallas are working into the nickel/safety role the staff has been bringing on. Best safety group since days of Meriweather and Phillips.

I expect Hester or Gayot to emerge into the two deep with the absence of Rayshawn this year. I'm personally leaning more towards Hester. But have heard lot of raves on Gayot.

Delapinga gonna be a special teamer.

K: I hope Semerene or Badgley puts Goudis on bench, heard Goudis looking bad.

KO: Hoping Semerene wins this.

P: Hope Vogel wins this.

KR: I know Duke is not listed here. But make no mistake, they will limit him and use Duke situationally for kickoffs, don't get it twisted. But it makes more sense to have Coley back their full time since he won't get as many touches as Duke since he's a receiver. Think Burns and Elder great back there too. Prefer Berrios to be more at PR. Would like to see Herb on KR. Would like to see Gray get a look here too.

Give me a group of 5 of Coley, Burns, Elder and Waters. Then Duke situationally, like opening kick and after the half. And Gray possibly.

PR: Obvious choice as Coley number 1. Should involve Malcolm here. Berrios could turn into a Switzer on special teams for us, he's that good, prefer him more at PR. Elder good choice for punt returns as well. I want Dorsett to focus more on WR, don't like him on returns.

Give me a group of 4. Coley, Malcolm, Berrios, and Elder here.

If you read that whole thing, hang yourself.

This dude's an insider now?

@LeezySixFifteen The birds are chirping of a student discipline committee issue, third team just about confirms it.

If it were a real issue, would he really still be on the depth chart?
