There was no need for Nix if Wiley Jr gave the staff the impression he wanted to be here as long as we met his asking price. We probably helped Nix pack his bags! We really only needed 3 LBs. Nix became very expendable.

They are different moron. Mario has Josh Moore as a top 50 player and Kellen Wiley as a top 5 LB. they had stubbs LOWER than most sites do publicly and scroggins higher. I dont have to prove myself to you. I dm with people but I dont share everything on here.

National Signing Day is in full effect at Miami. The Hurricanes made a big December move by signing Kellen Wiley from Armwood, FL.

On Wednesday morning, four-star linebacker Kellen Wiley announced his signing to the University of Miami. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound product of Florida chose the ‘Canes over the likes of Florida and Texas plus more schools.

According to On3 Sports they rank him as the No. 7 linebacker in the 2025 cycle and a Top 100 overall player in the country.

Wiley joins the top-10 recruiting class and joins linebacker Ezekiel Marcelin that signed later today to the Hurricanes.

He doesn't really flash on kick off coverage. I think I saw him flash once during the season on defense late in a game.

I'm not expecting anything honestly. He and Robby can't find the field as superior athletes... so it's probably between the ears.

Losing him late sucks but come on he wasn’t the next coming of Mike Singletary.

In todays game unless you are athletic freak like Fred Warner, inside LBers are easily the most replaceable least valued pieces on defense.

Just look at some of the top ILBs and where they were drafted.

Fred Warner - 3rd round
Demario Davis - 3rd round
Quincy Williams - 3rd round
Matt Milano - 5th round
Nick Bolton - 2nd round
Bobby Okereke - 2nd round
Roquan Smith - 1st round
Patrick Queen - 1st round

Of all the guys on the list both first picks were traded or allowed to leave via free agency.

You really aren't standing on this, right? The 13th ranked class is recuiting good? With 1 top 100 player? I mean, Georgia Tech has 2 top 100 players that signed. And this with the only thing that the HC can do is recruit? Or supposedly.

I have to come back after watching this kids film - I apologize for even mentioning another kids name in the same sentence of this young man….Kids a freakin BEAST!!!!

When this kid gets in our weight room program - WATCH OUT…..these are the types we’ve seen go to Bama and Georgia year after year after year…..feels good to have a few of these kids in our LB room (‘22 Wes-‘23 Popo-‘24 Hayes- ‘25 Wiley)…..Mario is building this LB room the right way

Bobby lacks instincts and a high football IQ. As for as seeing things happening before they do. He’s a raw athlete that needs to stay watching film . Lots of playbook time is needed. He has physical talent.
