4-star LB Kellen Wiley Signs With Miami

btw, credit to the staff for getting on this early. We always hear how we are late to the party and obviously money probably played the biggest factor but it's nice to see someone they identified first (or almost) go our way
Also... y'all are going to hate this but.....credit to STREETER(Footballville). He was the one who discovered Wiley at a game and called Dsmith right away to jump on him.

I can’t get a read on this Dennis Smith guy. You have some people on here saying he’s one of the biggest problems in the program but then you get a story like this which kind of seems like how it should he working. I’m guessing the real story is somewhere in the middle.

The truth is ALWAYS in the middle. Especially when you're not hearing from the guy himself. Also.... ppl just like pointing fingers and he has made himself an easy target.

National Signing Day is in full effect at Miami. The Hurricanes made a big December move by signing Kellen Wiley from Armwood, FL.

On Wednesday morning, four-star linebacker Kellen Wiley announced his signing to the University of Miami. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound product of Florida chose the ‘Canes over the likes of Florida and Texas plus more schools.

According to On3 Sports they rank him as the No. 7 linebacker in the 2025 cycle and a Top 100 overall player in the country.

Wiley joins the top-10 recruiting class and joins linebacker Ezekiel Marcelin that signed later today to the Hurricanes.

Thank you Kevin and Papa Wiley!

Welcome to the U, and let’s get to work!

we dont play in the nfc east ...dont care where folks are drafted we are talking about the college game and them making tackles for us.

Sorry I got distracted and didn’t finish my post.

Meant to end it by saying good ILBers are not hard ($$$) to find in the portal as DL or DBs are.

Someone like Nick Martin from Oklahoma St (if he enters) should cost the fraction of what Simon Barrow or Tyler Baron did.

With Popo looking as good as he could in Guidry’s broken D. I think pursuing a young LB instead of established 1 year rental might be way to go.

Guess it depends on who the DC will be, whether Bissanthe stays, and how the young guys (Hayes, Pruitt, Washington) come along.

It’s why I have hopes for this 2026 class not kicking the can and it will still be a bloodbath, but while people were saying “**** 2026” 2-3 years ago when @lindend was posting the info, you could see the difference being here for a while was gonna hopefully make
