2025 NFL Pro Day. Monday 3/24

If it’s in his blood to compete, you do it at the combine and then do it even better at pro day, like every other competitor has historically done it
Plenty skip the combine and do it at pro day, so you can say that is historically done as well....
And again maybe the point was he was hurt at the combine.

Or, because he skipped the Combine, he felt he had to do it at Pro Day, no matter what.

I'm not even giving this another thought. He'll go to a team that wants him for being a football player.

Shodell wrote a brief article to accompany his earlier story on the Pro Day results. He said he spoke to Restrpo today about the event. Restrepo told him no one knew about his tight hamstring. He felt it warming up; thinks it was a result of all the training he had been doing specifically to run, not play football. He never told Rosenhaus or his family until afterwards. He said he felt he had to compete, had to run the event. Thoughtr he could work through the tightness .

Makes sense to me. he never has b een about excuses. Always a straight up guy. Just an unfortunate event and I feel for the kid. He worked so hard for years to get to this point.

Nah. Packers will draft a big, fast WR that can’t catch and can’t stay healthy. X doesn’t fit our profile

Most of the pundits have said what he ran really didn’t matter. “Look at/watch his tape” and also mentioned he’s the all time leading WR at MIAMI.

I was watching a Pro Day recap on a CBS Sports podcast last night. They were talking about the actual "event" of the day. Ran Carthon, former Titans GM, said it was the longest Pro Day he's ever been to. He said the day started at 11:00 am with the weighing in, measuraing, etc.
Cam's portion was last, which is the norm for these kind of days. He said he got back to his hotel at 10:00 pm, after a 60 min drive.

Sounded like Mario made sure all his players got plenty of time around the scouts.......

I’m sure he made a few pit stops on his way back to the hotel! Lol. He’s in Miami. But good to hear nonetheless.

I'm sure dinner was involved but there were a couple of people with him who agreed it was a long , long day... I think the NFL network expected Cam's portion to begin around 4:30. They certainly scheduled their programming around that time. They also took notice of how long it took for Cam to start..

Here’s the thing. Restrepo knows what his 40 time is. If he was running 4.8 consistently, he never would have run on pro day. There’s literally nothing to gain. Was he hurt? Did he eat too much lasagna the night before? Did he just forget how to run? No idea but every single draft eligible player is aware of his 40 tine and the window he can consistently hit. If X was running high 4.7 or 4.8 regularly, he never would have done it in front of scouts. You ONLY perform drills that can improve your stock. There’s absolutely no reason for a receiver to ever run a 40 if he’s been timed that slow consistently.

SIAP...

Back when he was recruited I remember really good things about Restrepo's vertical and I THINK shuttle…Has he been tested in those recently?
