2024 Race to 300

I think we actually have an outside shot here.

After the loss of the 2 commits last week, we sit at 278 overall. We seem like we're heavy favorites for at least a couple flips, and possibly several.

In order of likelihood, here is where we can go:

Adding Armondo Blount gets us to 286.
Adding Jordan Lyle gets us to 289.
Adding Xavier Lucas gets us to 290.
Adding Adarius Hayes gets us almost to 295.

And, the big flopping salami, adding Jeremiah Smith gets us to 302.

Let's close.
Is this keeping Riley? Word is he's gone...

Gaby prediction:
- Riley

+ Blount, Lucas, Hayes, Mincey.

This class would finish with a score of 295.12, which would essentially be a lock for a top five finish for Miami. In the Class of 2023, that score would have finished No. 4 nationally, No.5 in the Class of 2022, No. 4 in the Class of 2021, and No. 5 in the Class of 2020.

Are we expecting a bat signal tonight? Saw some twitter insinuations - surprised nobody has been able to get Cam Ward yesterday or today for any interview.

I don’t know much about the point system but are we a mincey + a couple 3 star bumps to 4 stars away from 300?
Assuming no bumps, I don't think we get there. We don't seem to have any targets left but Amaree Williams and Mincey. They get us to around 296 if we get both.

We needed to increase quality/average to get to 300. our class is excellent, landing in the top 5 is impressive any way you slice it especially coming off the last two years on the field. but we are too bottom heavy to hit 300 without a massive volume class. we are 14th in average, and have five more 3 stars committed than the next closest team in the top 10.

If you add in transfers, can it get over 300? Functionally not much different between getting a HS player and getting a college player with 3-4 years of eligibility.
