To me Richardson is a total luxury pick. If you are a top team with a GM with job security and can afford it, then I guess you can make the pick. My issue, beyond gator, has been pointed out by you and Cryptical. His reads suck and his accuracy hasn’t been good. He had a very good line last year and it didn’t matter. The only thing I’ll note in his favor, aside from athleticism, is that he had a poor WR core last season and I believe there were a lot of drops which added to his poor numbers.

... I mean this is pretty ******* elite athletically. He shouldn't go early first. But late first? If you're a team like the Giants? I mean.... I'd rather risk Richardson with Daboll coaching him than Pay Daniel Jones anywhere > $25M...

Coaches think they are not only the smartest man in the room but possibly the world. They see those tools and all reason and logic escape them as they believe they can fix those minor issues and make them great.
