AR played QB in 32 games in high school, throwing for over 4600 yards for a .532 completion percentage. He had 37 TD's and 19 INT's.

AR played QB in 22 games in college, throwing for over 3100 yards for a .547 completion percentage. He had 24 TD's and 15 INT's.

Almost mirror type production, low completion percentage and always a sub 2-1 TD/INT ratio.

He's hardly inexperienced. He's had plenty of opportunities to play and progress, including a couple of years being coached and tutored by Dan Mullen, the supposed QB whisperer, and he hasn't progressed much at all, he's still an inaccurate interception machine. This narrative that he's "raw" because he hasn't played much is ridiculous. It's an excuse. He's always been a QB, he's played plenty, and spent three years getting SEC coaching.

This just might be who he is. And incredible athlete with a big arm, who just isn't that good at the rest of what it takes to play QB.
Listen, if u want to count games where he played and threw under 10 passes as games he played in then there’s no reason for us to discuss this topic lol, but it’s obvious to tell he’s a raw prospect in some areas, he’s actually polished in some areas too but you’d have to watch to see. He came in last year on a team and staff that basically quit. This past year was his first full year starting and playing, and u can watch the film if u know what you’re watching and see stuff that show that he can be a really good QB.

Also saying a player received sec coaching is a new one i have never heard lmao

There’s going to be a couple of issues w/ Will, & this goes back to the Green Tree All American mantra.

Daniel Jeremiah said it best; when Will ran his 40 it surprised him that he had that in his bag b/c when he watched film, he played slower.

Will practices extremely well, but when a team put on the tape, it’s going to show a TE that should be a TE1 that often disappears. Also, his blocking or lack thereof was on display in one of the drills; just bad form & bad leg drive. I’m wondering if he skipped the bench due to minimizing any negative, & wanted to show his athleticism.

Regardless, I see Mallory as a 4th-5th round pick
agreed along w using him poorly last year

I gave stats in the aggregate too. Weird how you gloss over that, homie. He's played QB his whole life and plenty at the highest level of CFB. Undeniable.

Saying a player received good coaching is a new one? The SEC is, regrettably, at the top of CFB. Tons of high level coaches. AR was taught and coached by Dan Mullen, a guy half this board has been clamoring for lol and a universally lauded QB/OC. He was also coached for a year by a current NFL OC/QB who just won the Super Bowl as QB coach, and was coached by the $7M a year HC last year iirc. He has been around elite QB tutors. No one could fix him.

And yes, I have "watched and I have seen." Watching UF (and rooting against them) is my second favorite thing to do in CFB. Going down this road will waste both our time and won't end well for your argument, but it's one that everyone knows the answer to, anyway. We've seen his 20 yard over throws, horrendous reads, failures to find the open man and pick 6's enough, in his 3rd year in the program. UF was 1-0 after a big win at Utah heading into UK. Had the team "quit" already at 1-0 with a ranked win? Because AR choked so hard in that game, he's probably as much the reason that the team realized what they had and why they "quit" after that.

I still view Allen as a Top 5 QB but that's just me. I think the big plays he makes outweighs the Turnovers. If Richardson was guaranteed to be the exact same QB as Allen the bears would take him #1 and trade Fields.
Guarantees and nfl qb draft should not be included in the same sentence. It's a crap shoot. All kinds of measurements at the combine. The most important nfl qb attribute (once basic arm strength is met) is processing speed between the ears.

Im really high on AR, i think he has the highest potential of all the QBs. People forget this is his first full year of playing, he actually has some good traits as far as QB **** from the pocket. Accuracy is a huge concern of course but I think he’ll develop well
When you move to the nfl where teams have enough quality at db to at least somewhat cover all the receivers, accuracy is at a premium. Much smller windows to throw in. The colleg inaccurate guys rarely get more accurate.

Not making excuses, but didn’t he have a shoulder injury? May have been why he skipped the lifting. Agree with everything you’ve noted.

Wasn’t aware of a shoulder injury pre combine. Honestly, just b/c I’m currently dealing a shoulder injury, running is a problem or even lifting my arm up at a certain point of my head. ****, I was skipping rocks a day ago w/ my non injured shoulder & the torque affected my injured shoulder.

He didn’t appear to look as one w/ an injury, but then again, maybe he is. Could be a viable reason.

Playing what? Out wide as a WR? He can’t block in college you think he will in the NFL? Haha imagine him trying to chip or block Myles Garrett. That’s what TE’s have to do in the nfl unless you are a freak athlete who just stays split out.
Uhhh have you seen Mike Gesicki. Guy still hasn't learned to block but has had some pretty decent years.

In this era this isn’t true, multiple guys have improved their accuracy. **** every top qb has, we just saw hurts do it. He doesn’t have to get to peyton level accuracy to become a good qb

Yea its no point of having this discussion

He still will struggle in a game though and can’t block. Hope he gets selected and make a roster. Seems like a good kid
Don’t think it’s any question that he gets picked and makes a roster. Just hope that he lands in a situation that’s willing to use him for things he does well. He can be a seam monster
