2013 UM DT Option Tevin Lawson (LSU Grey Shirt)

Miami and Oklahoma have called to inquire about Tevin Lawson today.

fellas, i knwo you guys think I'm a canes hater but im not and you shall see how i am not now.

first off, regarding the grade concerns...yes he does have bad grades but NOT bad to not qualify. currently, he has a 2.44 gpa and 19 act. to qualify, he needs a 2.5 and 18 act so all he needs to do this semester is get a 3.0 gpa to qualify. I'm fairly confident he would be able to qualify (worst case he qualifies through summer classes and comes in during the fall)

second, i read about this kid around 9 am this morning. i immediately sent a message to al golden and brennan carroll which both read. (facebook added that feature recently)

not taking credit for it at all but i find it interesting that a tweet came 6 hours hours later saying miami contacted the school. i just hope we can get him !

i know we were going to take botswick bryant and thomas so why not take this kid and edwards williams!?

so you are facebook friends to both coaches and they know you as well.
 
If we are fortunate to finish with this 4 star DT and Edward Williams...this class would be really strong for me.

We must bring these two down for an official visit.

It would definitely bring some good potential to the defensive class, that's for sure.

Would also be crazy for us to be able to mine these gems out of Louisiana of all places.

Coach Golden need to be visit Louisiana today or tomorrow for Edward Williams & Tevin Lawson. From reading NOLA.com article, it seems like Edward would visit if offered. I live in Louisiana and Miami is huge down hear. Their is a great appreciation of Miami's history down hear.
