Why is Duke leaving a forgone conclusion. I don't see a kid who loves the U as much as he does leaving, especially if we have a pretty decent season, say 8-10 wins. He just seems like the kinda guy who'd stick around. IMO

Duke is a running back who will have a lot of wear and tear on him. If he has a great season, I hope he leaves for his sake. It's much harder to get drafted high as a RB in the NFL these days, so you gotta go when your stock is high. Duke deserves to get paid and have an awesome NFL career.

Because millions will be calling his name if he has a monster year like he is very well capable of doing.
 
In 2001 we took the next step after losing Moss, Wayne and Morgan. Just saying.....
 
If Duke can stay healthy and have a productive season, everyone he knows should advise him to enter the draft. He's yet to last an entire season and it would be incredibly selfish to ask him to do anything other than letting the guy get paid.

Shelf life for an NFL RB is incredibly low. The man needs to get himself and his mom paid.

I'm pretty bipolar about Duke staying. On the one hand I want him to stay and continue being a beast for us. But I also want him to have a successful NFL career, and not be worn down.
But also you guys need to stop acting like Duke's getting like 300 carries a year like Darren McFadden was or something. I'll admit though the broken ankle and the Migraines aren't very good.

Duke couldn't get out of the FAU or Charleston Sourthern games without a stretcher. I think WF was the only game he finished upright all season?

The more he puts the team on his back, the quicker he is done for the year.

We MAY, may, be one year away from competing for second place in the Coastal in 2015.

I don't know. I have a feeling recruiting will collapse after this season (5-7, MAYBE 7-5, NO defensive players will get near us after Dorito's 2014) and we will remain right back at the bottom of the World, where we have been for over a decade.

We are a LOT closer to being one year away from having no football program than we are competing for a Coastal title and blowout loss to the Atlantic in the ACC CG.

I swear some of y'all are praying that we do bad next year.... This is the most talented team we have had since 2004 and y'all think we will go 5-7. Who did we lose? Allen Hurns, Stephen Morris, Linder, Henderson. That's only 5 players who will be replaced easily.... The ones on defense aren't even worth mentioning.... Get the f out of here with that bullsh*t....

Agree. Sometimes I question if some of these fans even get any enjoyment from being a cane fan and following the football program.
