Lol No D is hopeless. I remember when he said GT was running stuff they never seen.....like brah thats the idea lmao. These are supposed to be the smart big ten guys?! Shannon is miles better than this O and I think he was in special Ed. Ima say it now. If we see the same ****. No D need to be gone before game 6. And if Golden doesn't then both should go after the season is done

I already have agita and the season hasn't even begun. I'm watching the MSU Stanford rerun and it's just killed me to see how we have systematically destroyed our program. But hey we have a nice APR! It's maddening that a carpet eating midget who had no ties to this school came here and dismantled it's most renowned feature so she can make herself look good. I'm ******* tired of it!!

It's funny but it's not. These Golden slurpers aren't very intelligent people...and I say this based on the back and forth that both I have had, as well as reading through the arguments they have with others.
Tend to be very simple minded, rah-rah, super fan types. Hit them with stats and they hit you with intangibles. You try to call it like it is and point out problems and they try to pass you off as a "mope" or whatever the **** they are saying these days.
These are the same ******** that defended Coker and Randy til the end and then after the fact claim they never defended them. Bomb is a example A of this type of bull****.
Borderline cult behavior and it's a shame to see what's left of the Grassy community slowly disappear.

One turned dumpster fire temple into something respectable, the other one had no similar track record. Oh one of them was also the number 2 while our program was going down the tubes.

And one of them has coached the worst defenses in school history, is 1-12 versus teams with 8 or more wins, and has had more blowout losses than any UM coach I remember, yet I see no criticism coming his way from you. You're full of it.

Just because you find success at one program doesn't mean you can replicate it. CFB is filled with coaches that were successful at smaller schools only to fail when they got to a big time program. Stop pointing to temple as an example. Temple is not Miami. It doesn't have the players Miami does nor the culture, not the challenges or the expectations. They are nothing alike and findin success at temple does not mean what golden is doing is going to work. It hasn't worked for 3 years with senior laden teams or with a young team.
If golden thought he could just replicate what he did at temple then he made a huge error in judgement. He has yet to adapt to football the way it's played in Miami. He still thinks he's in the north east and is trying to force a defensive philosophy that simply doesn't work in Miami and barely works in CFB in general.
So yes he turned temple around and that was fine. That doesn't mean he is guaranteed success once on the bigger stage and so far the evidence clearly indicates he's been a fallen far short of expectations.

Golden and Dorito don't trust the players. Simple as that. You sign a 5 star stud in Tracy Howard and yet you don't trust him to play man? You sign deon bush and Jenkins at safety and you don't trust them (both solid players coming out of high school)? Therein lies one of the problems, they don't trust these players to execute a complicated *** scheme that they are forcing on the players. So instead they play guys that have no business being on the field then they complain about said players. Complete and total incompetence by the staff. They have no clue as to what they are doing.
A couple of points from the Louisville film posted (aside from obvious scheme issues)
-our LBs have no idea in zone coverage. No active hands, no route mirroring, a lot of just covering grass. A Div 1 QB isn't so bad that he's going to throw it right to you, try moving with the receiver through your zone (Armbrister, Cornelius, Shayon)
- related, but if a RB or TE crosses underneath the formation, we totally ignore him. We don't peel with him, knock him down or off his route. Teddy had 250 yards of check down throws.
- tackling was awful in the back seven for most of the game. Safeties were never around the ball. No punisher back there to make the WR think twice about going over the middle.
- these are all points above that have nothing to do with scheme. These are things taught from a fairly young age. I think we had very few instinctual players on D last year.
-Louisville OC did a good job of getting Teddy easy completions early to get in rhythm. That's with a 1st round talent a QB. They ran about 5 plays 5-7 times each. Maybe solely because we didn't adjust and they had no reason to alter play calling. We need more check down throws completed at about 5-6 yards, let the skill guys make a play/ break a tackle. Louisville had numerous 5 yard completions go for 15 yards. Not so many deep shots that we saw last year and unfortunately, in the spring game as well. I hope we see more of this with Heaps/ Williams. Sometimes, Morris was just in love with his arm when the underneath throw was WIDE OPEN.
-the formation that Louisville ran with the tight 2x2 receiver set was used more last season across CFB than I've ever noticed. FSU killed teams with it, usually 10 and 5 yard outs, or corners over top of outs. Why do we never implement things this easy that are proven to work week in and week out in CFB? Honestly, 100 teams probably ran it last year, but not us.
