I ain't stoppin ****.
Mario can be an absolute terror inside the Hecht.
Firing a DC ain't as simple as yall make it out to be. This isn't a video game.

Give notice. Negotiate a buyout based on the time left on the contract. If the contract has a termination provision and buyout, even easier. Then announce the move.
It's not a video game, but it's not rocket science either.

Last season GT demoted their DC to S coach before their game against us and elevated the Co-DC to be the playcaller.

It was most certainly possible to make a change.
shhhh

Whatever happened in that building on the defensive side was so toxic that players either weren't coached up or that the assistants refused to coach up what Guidry wanted or Guidry and the assistants did not see eye to eye.

It all comes down to one person. You can easily fire that person, it's a question of whether the university wants to deal with the buyout money. And I am pretty sure they did not want to do that.

I heard the complete opposite.
I’ll stand in the paint.

One of the rare times I disagree with you. That’s not why he’s not firing him yet. He is trying to be a “nice” guy and allowing people to land on their feet. Meanwhile, he takes 6 months to interview dozens of coaches and make a move because he thinks he is smart. A lot of good this approach has done him.

Meanwhile, Mario has no problem hiring alcoholic’s and addictive personality’s around kids and their parents. We seem to be running a recovery program low key.

there really isn’t a lot of holes besides Qb and DB. Now the evaluations and development can definitely be brought into question
Right. I may be using roster management broadly to include those elements -- like we had a defense - the defense just sucked, we have RBs, they are just not RB1s, we have WRs, they are all question marks, etc. Perhaps to further the point - if we don't have that many holes, then we could use the money on an elite RB1 in the portal, as an example.

No chance.

Mario is our Mike Gundy, minus the multiple 10-win seasons, and we are basically Oklahoma State with a beach and more NIL budget (for now).
So we are re-negotiating his salary to give money back to roster management? -- DEAL

I agree with coach macho here. It's not easy to fire someone with a contract. It's especially hard to fire someone with a contract with the people we have running this athletic department. Everyone references Saban. But Alabama is FULL of people who know and care about football. Ohio State, Texas, Georgia, and so on. These people in their buildings are not mediocre.

Miami's athletic department is littered with Mediocre management. Mario makes awful game day decisions and NO ONE will challenge him. Not even the media. Does Mario want the best for the program? Yes. Does Mario want to win here with all of his heart? Yes. Can Mario manage a football team? No.

He needs help. He needs someone who knows how to manage. He needs someone who will push back on him. I think that is what is meant by Mario being a terror in the Hecht Center. If you look at a Saban, Kirby, Kelly, or Lanning, they will push a coordinators face in on the sideline. Mario won't do that.

I thought Highsmith was that dude, but I guess not. Cristobal needs to only recruit and coach up the O-line. Be the "Miami" face of the program.

This is why i hate when people say ih the program is cursed and all that stupid ****..NO THE PROGRAM IS RAN BY STUPID NON FOOTBALL PEOPLE

Its like they have a list of miami coaches and just check go to the next one every time we need a new one

Even with mario, people on here and other places were literally saying mid season they have contacted mario and said we will give you whatever you want. Like bro u dont think its finally time to do a reach coaching search of non miami guys after the last 20 years?????

The guy in charge who i think is now the president was on a podcast and literally said he was locked in on rad and mario right away. Im listening like bro what??? Have we not learned?? Thank god mario is at least proven and has been at successful programs before here

But the biggest red flag was basically the talk that the boosters seem to be only fully invested if its mario thats why people look at him as some savior. But it means they really dont care about the football program they only want it to be successful if its done their way. We just gotta pray mario is good enough to get us back to at least a good respectable program and gives them a proof of concept to actually take **** serious so we can keep it up after him
Which he would 1000% never do at Deloitte and have been successful in his previous days job. To further this aggravating ridiculousness -- I was discussing a Fortune 10 company last night that I know well and has had some recent organizational changes --- I said, we'll I like this person I know well, and I really think they can make an impact, BUT if they come in and simply do things the same way, listen to the same people that have yet to fix the problem, etc. -- then they will not fix the problem --- mid-sentence -- my mind went to the game, then the program, then the school --- I was then double annoyed because I so want both of these "organizations" to get it right for all of us.

Mario being a terror appears to be part of the problem --- he cannot hire and he is difficult to work with -- that is not being an alpha -- that is being an angry Fred Flintstone -- Bam Bam Bam

#howyoudoanything

WORK SMARTER NOT HARDER!!!

The results speak for themselves. Crisis is amongst the worst, if not the worst game day coach in the country and he hasn't recruited well enough to compensate for his deficiencies in every other aspect of the game. Literally any coach can land the 15th ranked recruiting class here (see every coach of the past 20 years). What's the point of Crisis if he's going to recruit at a sub-par level?

I hope we don't get bogged down in this is impossible to fix, because that would be impossible to fix.

You have problems in front of you, are you willing to solve them. You do the immediate the best you can, move on to the next and so on.

1. DC. That is the most immediate problem.
2. QB.
3. DBs and LBs
4. Keeping the OC

I'd rather not.

Cam made him look all world but he's mediocre at best. We can do better. He's a **** dunce and calls some of the stupidest **** at the most inopportune moments.

Especially the redzone.
