Wasn't there rumors of "Rice" or something giving him a HC job?

Great. I hope he gets it.

Prayers up and fingers crossed.
This is why we can't have nice things. This fanbase talks about "building a program" and then hands out lazy *** takes like this. Rinse. Lather. Repeat.

MF'er I'm just doing the same thing you're doing... giving my MF'ing opinion.

Am I his daddy?
Did he fvck your broad?

See how that works?

Facts don't give a fvck about feelings homeboy. Facts are this MF'er had the #1 offense in the country. (and he's had good offenses everywhere he's been)

You're not gonna fire a guy who is up for the Broyles... so it's a stupid take .

Stop trying to be like me. Be yourself.

Which broad? Got plenty. They all like a man who can handle a Tight End and finish in the redzone, consistently.

Facts are his offenses have been mediocre at best his entire career and looked better with a generational talent in Cam Ward.

You're the only one in your feelings. Acting like a child and getting in your feelings over people not liking these coaches.

I don't give a **** what you type. I don't like ANY of these coaches.

You act like Cam was making chicken salad out of chicken ****. Half the time he was throwing to wide open guys. That's play design.
I am not furthering this debate per se, nor suggesting he get canned or move on -- but how do you explain how bad Emory looked on Saturday, same with Jacurri last year, etc. -- like do they not practice at all -- that is how bad they look out there in comparison to say the back up at WSU who stepped right in and played like he has thrown a pass before.

Have you seen how long it takes Mario to replace Coordinators?? We won’t have coordinators in place until a few days before fall camp if he has to replace both

From the looks of it bredren. We're going to suck anyway. It is what it is at this point.

Lyle - Why is it that freshman cannot be elite/high end at Miami, but they can elsewhere? Freshman RBs and WRs, etc. excel at places all the time -- this is the last game of the year, he did not unseat Allen and did not have the well rested juice to take over against a battered Iowa State ****** run D. RB1 expectations are RB1 expectations --- and no, I am not writing him off at all.

The CBs got cooked almost all season. Sure, the D is a unit, but we did not have nearly enough at CB to win us games. And of course, CBs can lose games -- and of course if the QB is on his back because the DL destroys them the CBs job becomes a lot easier. Our CB situation is SO BAD, that we have been asked to not have a less than positive opinion about our new portal CB because it may mentally beat him down.

Name the true freshman RBs that have made a splash in CFB this year. It’s not nearly as common as you think. Go look at the top 10 RBs per 247 the past 2 years and you can argue that lyle has been the best of all of them as a true freshman.

And people on here really are saying give JT a chance? Jeezus. You people really are gluttons for punishment. And now Dawson is no good? You guys are insufferable.

You need bricks to build. These coaches are sand.

Rinse, lather, repeat is what's happened the last 2 decades trying to create continuity out of trash.

They both suck?

Jacurri hasn't been good anywhere so... 🤷🏻‍♂️

They want the guy who coaches our under achieving DL to run the entire defense.

I did not say Dawson is no good. I asked why our back up QBs suck. I am also not selling Lyle as RB1, I am asking why if he is RB1 caliber, he does not look like it, could not unseat Allen, etc. Lyle will be a good back, we just tend to oversell our players, especially if they are from SFL, especially if we want to pound our chest about a recruiting battle win. Ryan Day coaching in the playoffs from the locker Mario stuffed him in, while Mario loses the Pop Tarts Bowl because he cannot run it in from the 7th against a defense that gave up 300 yards rushing.

The RB1 discussion is related to this gentleman right here: https://www.canesinsight.com/threads/rb-targets.190753/post-7550443 -- but he is now likely headed to Oregon - but we did not need him anyway.

Maybe the telling thing is that there is nobody in the building who could call plays. I understand not making the move during the regular season. We’re undefeated and playing for something. He should have been dismissed post Syracuse.

You obviously don’t know who you’re arguing with. @Coach Macho has been a highly regarded HS DC for years. If anyone on this board knows what he’s talking about concerning football, it’s him.

MariBROS talk about building a program -- the rest of us talk about winning.

Building a program is a built in excuse to explain away not winning enough.
I'd like to root for a team that wins 9-10 games every season and plays for ACC Championships consistently.

I am realistic about our disadvantages and don't think perennial national title contender is something that we can strive for. So yeah, I'd like to see some consistency and continuity and not cry about firing dudes every season.

I get the in-season perspective but what’s the problem in firing him now and hold accountable the single unit that cost us the season?

Then we need a HC that hires well.

Ummm I obviously do. Macho and I have had plenty back and forth over the years and most have been in agreement with each other.

You see how long I've been on this board?

I coach too, BTW and I know football quite well my **** self.

Macho doesn't need you to put on a cape for him. He's a big boy he can handle little ol me.
