I think 1) Rivers 2) Portal 3) Rodriguez

Outside of Rivers staying I think it's a strong possibility that we go the portal route for Center. Rodriguez may end up winning out but he will have to earn it. Then there is the chance that one of the younger kids develop quickly but once again I cannot for the life of me imagine Kinsler or McCoy as the starting Center and I just don't understand how you can see that. I guess it could happen but I just think it's unlikely. McCoy is a natural Tackle and Kinsler could play RT or either Guard spot but Center? Hey I've seen stranger things happen and it would give us a massive line!

With Francis, Samson, McCoy and Kinsler I would think we’d be going hard after OG types vs. another OT. O and Plazz and Broussard project as Tackles. Either way if Bell is a top talent I’ll trust Mirabal

Would love some news at DT and CB
Always better to recruit OT rather than true OGs. You can never have enough OTs and it's a much easier transition to play inside than a true OG trying to play OT.

I’ll have a more detailed Bank soon, but just wanted to drop a couple quick hitters:

- I like where Miami is trending for 6’8, 340 OT Markel Bell. I’m told the nation’s top JUCO lineman looked “freakish” on his visit and made a great impression personally. He would be an impactful addition to this class.

- As we first reported on the Bank, Miami has a sky-high grade on DE Cole McConathy (Mobile, AL). Very good shot there.

- Miami is continuing to prioritize and recruit DE Armondo Blount (Central). That story is ongoing. Let’s see what happens.
@DMoney I know you said you'll be dropping a more detailed Bank but what's the word on Elija Lofton? What's up with Dylan Stewart?

What if he gains another 10-15 lbs that would put him around 290-295,can he still play DE at that weight.
Maybe he does move eventually, but don't force the move because we have no one else. Let him grow naturally into it.

Besides, these days 290-295 is small for a DT.

Easier for OT types to transition to OG than OG types to transition to OT. Please use our pre-Mario oline for examples haha what a **** poor approach by previous staffs.

Cole has been committed to UL since July. Where is the “very good shot there” coming from?

Does he have a visit set up here?

This is a great problem to have. You can’t stress about the guys not playing. As long as the best are playing. Only thing is Samson is a tackle all the way. He’s a prototype. And plus from a recruiting side we want him to develop and be great. Some proof of concept for blue chips. But that’s secondary. If bell is better? Then put him out there. And if Francis is locked in at right tackle. Leave him

Was just going off the official roster listings.

He also has more experience than Samson who is also now injured. I know they like him… but he’s also simply not as talented. I think next off-season Samson will make a jump
How do you know he’s simply not as talented? Samson dominated abunch of white boys from Connecticut and had done nothing in college yet. McCoy was injured all last year so not much more expierence and still beat him out in offseason. McCoy also a was TE in high school that converted to TE that also played basketball and is super athletic. Staff is extremely high on him. Samson has/had a ways to go and being injured all season doesn’t help

I don’t want to go into next season with Ryan Rodriguez as the fkn center. We saw what investing into the OL has meant - go get the best center on the market and pitch to him the same you did to Lee. Rodriguez can play backup.

They will... people need to relax.

Also Matt Lee could come back
