Oh and he went to Columbus (even though Mario didn’t recruit him)

Because his last name is Rodriguez and 99% of our mouthbreathing fanbase automatically thinks a player with a Hispanic surname is getting preferential treatment because of who our HC is
Also because for whatever reason, most here on CIS don't believe that people (players nor coaches) can get better. You are what you always have been. We tag em as JAGs around the middle of their 2nd year on campus. By the start of year 3, they are certified JAGs. Can't get no better.

What lsu did would be completely different tho, they moved perkins from dline to linebacker.. Bain is already taking snaps at 3tech right now and played both edge and 3tech in high school its not some crazy transition like yall think it will benefit him imo

To be clear.. I was agreeing with Francis, that we're using Bain exactly how we should, by playing him across the line and not increasing his snaps inside too much.
I was under the impression that you thought his best spot was 3tech and we should use him more there. I agree with him getting snaps at 3tech, however I don't think that he'd be better there (based on where his best plays have come so far). It's why I related his situation to Rous AND Perkins. Rous had most of his production from 3t, so it made sense to give him more snaps there. That hasn't been the case with Bain. When we see Bain say hello to QB's, its mostly been off the edge.

Also, Perkins was definitely not a defensive end. He was a multi-positional guy in high school and recruited to play LB. He came in and they put him at Jack/Sam. Yeah he was coming off the edge, but he also played in coverage a bunch sucked at it. All his good plays came when he wasn't flat footed. This off season they moved him from outside to inside backer, then back to outside cuz they realized they took his best game away.

go watch that tape bruh, I dont care what rank he is hes 6'5 233 and can flip those hips and run. Pause

Hes a take bruh

It's the unnecessary push on the K on the FG block that seals it for me.

The ref is looking right at it too and just shrugs.

Apparently people have seen our anaemic pass rush and players like Moss not develop and think "we don't need to stack chips at DE".

Fun.
You can never have enough defensive ends.

I still have nightmares from these **** tiger packages that the Giants ran vs the Patriots. **** off Justin Tuck, Jesus Christ...

:ohlord: Scary. Those packages were a thing to watch. Defense at its finest.

this class appears to be the exact type of class every failed miami coach signs while here.

We better hope for surprise signing day fireworks or that zo is truly the goat evaluator because this class not only doesn’t appear to have top flight talent but fails to address major needs. Hopefully we finish season strong and momentum builds
There still in high school!....cis at its finest..lol

I don’t want to go into next season with Ryan Rodriguez as the fkn center. We saw what investing into the OL has meant - go get the best center on the market and pitch to him the same you did to Lee. Rodriguez can play backup.
I know that there is a good chance that Lee would leave regardless, but does he have another year of eligibility left? The Miami site shows him as a 5th year redshirt Senior but b/c of COVID, wouldn't he have another year left? Apologies if this has already been addressed somewhere.

I think he has one more year to play but the expectation is the NFL would be the move
