With Bell, what would our starting 5 look like for next season.

Would Samon be a Guard?
I think he could be, but I’m against moving guys that are feasting at their current spot. If Francis wants to be a tackle and is succeeding, no point in moving him.

Edit, thought you said Samoan lol. For Samson, I think he’s also a tackle so I would leave him there and just have him compete with Bell. Iron sharpens iron.

Same goes for Bain. People want to move him to make up for deficiencies along the interior in 2024…why mess with where he’s currently projected as a Freshman All-American? Find someone to line up next to him, don’t move him because of self-inflicted recruiting issues.

this class appears to be the exact type of class every failed miami coach signs while here.

We better hope for surprise signing day fireworks or that zo is truly the goat evaluator because this class not only doesn’t appear to have top flight talent but fails to address major needs. Hopefully we finish season strong and momentum builds

😂 thought I typed Samson..

Yeah, if Bell does come in, should be a really interesting battle with him.

100000%. I am sick and tired of ridiculous uninformed fans yapping about position changes, simply because we do not have 85 blue-chip recruits ready to start next Saturday.

The two Georgia kids…North Carolina kid D.White. Are some of the kids mentioned lately.
And I’m sure he’s trying to flip others or are after guys we don’t hear much about. That’s why I don’t worry about recruiting. Mario can recruit. But I’ll admit the DT recruiting bothers me.

I love that even though the mother **** on Miami fans, that Mario is still recruiting Blount hard.

Is Collins Acheampong projected to play inside?
If yes, and that means he’s in the 280 range at the least, I’d feel better at DT. With Moton, Collins, Burroughs, you at least would feel like we have the beginnings of a solid inside. But we need to see if Harrison Hunte comes back, if Taylor comes back. Will Wayne gain a ton of masss? But doesn’t excuse the lack of landing kids.

With Francis, Samson, McCoy and Kinsler I would think we’d be going hard after OG types vs. another OT. O and Plazz and Broussard project as Tackles. Either way if Bell is a top talent I’ll trust Mirabal

Would love some news at DT and CB

I don’t think this staff really believes in recruiting players as pure OG vs OT players. They are always talking about cross training, versatility, etc. They don’t use a true 2 deep. If a starter gets hurt they don’t just plug in the backup… OL #6 goes in and they reshuffle positions as needed.

They want traits in the door and then they can sort out positions later.

Yup that’s how he does. Move guys around and find the spot that suits them

How do we think a potential lineup changes with Bell & Samson both eying for the LT job. Who would slide to LG?

Don’t forget Horton in that bunch too
