I see a lot of "we need to get him to commit and shut things down today" comments.

But what's the strategy to get a kid like this to actually commit and shut things down today?

It seems like no matter what we offer, he'll want to use that and take it to the other schools to negotiate for more.

I would assume the only other option for us is to risk playing hard ball like "we'll give you more than you're asking for but you need to accept right now and commit and shut down or the offer is gone."

Auction phenomenon. Bidders only reveal their true reservation price in the final rounds.

I hope they promise to keep him at the edge and pay him good NIL. He's not going that high in the draft right now, and I think he has it in him to be much better than his production.
I agree.. I think him and Bain at EDGE is an outstanding combo IF:
1. They have the help they need inside.
2. They're not asked to constantly stunt and drop into coverage.

UF people saying he’s staying there another day

EASY SELL, TAKE HIM AROUND CAMPUS, LET HIM ENJOY THE EYE CANDY, OFFER A **** LOAD OF MONEY, DONE DEAL. NO WHERE ELSE IS HE GOING TO GET THIS EXPERIENCE, MIAMI IS UNIQUE, ALWAYS HAS BEEN. IT SELLS ITSELF. OH DID I TELL YOU THAT YOUR GOING TO RECEIVE A FIRST CLASS EDUCATION AT AN ELITE PRIVATE INSTITUTION AND ESTABLISH RELATIONSHIPS THAT WILL SERVE YOU FOR A LIFETIME ?

TrumpyCane loves the fact you mentioned the eye candy

TrumpyCane has a client who was recruited to Auburn as a swimmer in the early 90s

They asked him if he wanted a girl to show him around campus and they implied more stuff would happen

Silver was much lighter coming out of HS. He absolutely blossomed in weight but he still carries it well. Both similar skill sets, just complete space eaters who win with power and whose job is to reset the LOS. Silver older and much more experienced. Apparently the NT job would have been Jarrett’s to lose for 2025 according to UGA fans so this could simply be a money play. I’d kick the tires for sure though.

From 247

UGA people saying Jarrett has struggled with weight issues supposedly ballooning to 380-390. His playing weight was listed at 350.

From the sounds of it, looks like he asked for a raise and Kirby said no and felt the guys he brought in after him made him expendable.

Silver seems like proven production while Jarrett is not (was projected to be competing for starting NT in 25)

Are we sure Messidor is gone? He still has eligibility I believe due to injury/COVID year.
He actually took a rs for 2023 because he only played 3 games. And I believe he walked at senior day

Until I hear it from him or someone from inside his camp..I call BS. Why the **** would he tell UF his business? These recruits are more savvy than that. They are probably trying to convince him NOT to go to UM. We play them next year. Of course they want him to go anywhere other than UM.

And LOL @ Jarrett going to UGA for a re-negotiation! These kids are too much!
